the food in general is good, the meats in the term that they request is very good, they are very soft meats, and with very good flavor, and with the right fat for each cut, the waiting time from the service to the serving is relatively short, around 10 to 15 minutes. salads are fresh and cheap. All in all it's a good choice for meat lovers.
Our server was absolutely fantastic! He went out of his way to accommodate our request for extra beverages left at the table. The steaks were cooked perfectly, were delicious and so filling we had to take dessert with us.
Fantastic meal and service. I had the sirloin which was great, seasoned just right. My wife had the best lamb chops she ever had. But what really made the meal terrific was our waitress, Cindy. Six stars for her. ?
Me and my fiancé eat here all the time. The steaks are amazing!! And the Mac n cheese is the absolute best. But my favorite is Sharon the manager!! She’s literally the sweetest and on top of everything!! Would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone!
Food is always awesome! It was super busy but we did a call ahead and were seated in about 15 minutes. Once we got to the table it was about 20 minutes before a server even greeted us. By the time she came to take the drink order we were ready to order appetizers and entrees too. It didn't take very long for the food to come out, it was just a little disappointing to be left without a greeting and drinks for so long. We'll definitely be back as the food is great, just hopeful that next time a server will at least check in with us sooner.
My husband and I are in the service industry and typically avoid going out to dinner this time of year (snowbirds) let alone on a Friday night but we were in the mood for a steak. So glad we decided to venture out. Called ahead and our table was ready when we walked in. The place was packed and on a wait but the staff handled it well. Levi was our server and was amazing. I am a difficult person and modify everything I order so it usually is always wrong. Not this time. Levi was so attentive and friendly and handled my difficult order no problems. We had drinks, dessert, and entrees. Everything came out in a timely manner and we never went without anything. Huge thank you to Levi for helping us enjoy a night out and the kitchen staff who handled a full restaurant with short ticket times and perfectly cooked steaks!
The food was very good, even for a chain restaurant. We eat at Longhorn Restaurants all over the place and the food at some is poor, average, or okay, but it was really good here. And the service was pretty good, pretty close to what I would call great, but after I made it clear we were not going to be rushed. No, you are not taking my meal order along with my appetizer order, and coming back a minute later asking again before the appetizer is out isn't going to change my mind. I just had to say outright that I had no intention of ordering until we received our appetizer. I didn't knock the rating because of this though. The problem here (once we let our server know we were going to have a relaxed, not rushed evening) was the bar and drinks. First, no blended drinks; no blender, no island oasis machine - no excellent rating! How can a restaurant that advertises full bar service, especially in Florida, not make blended drinks? Every Longhorn we have been to makes blended drinks. So water it was. My companion ordered a long island iced tea. Ten minutes later he received it which was awful. So much sour mix it left a pucker for a day. If they can't run a good bar they shouldn't be allowed to run one at all.
I’ve been to this location a few times and the service is really good. The downfall is the food is always a hit or miss. I went here the other night and I asked for my steak medium well and I got well done. They brought me a new steak and it was STILL well done and dry. I don’t like complaining so I ended up keeping the second steak. I’ll be going to the location near Gulf Coast instead of this place because they are always on point.
Well my wife and kids(22 and 27) were about to go grocery shopping and you know what they say, ‘don’t go grocery shopping without first eating’. So we came bye Longhorns.Typically, Longhorns is a dinner spot for us. But everyone wanted to try it for lunch. So we pulled in. Glad we did!The young man who sat us was definitely not trained on hosting, no greeting, turned his back on us and barely audible told us to follow him. Set the menus and silverware on the table and walked away. Many people would probably be put off by such inhospitable conduct, I was a little but I have to believe he was just a busser.Let me say, Cindy made up for it. Our server. She’s fantastic! Very very good at her job. Took very good care of us. Very attentive but not overly. Management please commend her!My son had the Steakhouse Burger, my daughter had the shrimp and lobster chowder soup and Caesar salad, my wife had the same chowder with steak salad. My son said the burger was the best burger he’s had since Disney Springs. Perfectly cooked, slight crusted outside, pink inside, meat was dripping juices, a perfect 10. My daughter and wife give the the chowder a 6.5. Very flavorful however missing the actual meats that carry the name. This could have been due to the cook not giving a quick stir of the pot prior to filling the bowl. The steak salad was excellent! Sirloin was pink and tender. Salad preparations were cold and crisp. My daughters Caesar salad was crisp and cold excellently prepared and flavorful. For myself I had the Steakhouse Chicken wings and house salad. The flavor of the wings were excellent. They were cooked a litte to much resulting in a bit dry meat. Not all of them but some. Still very good and I was not disappointed. Salad, as with the others, very cold and crisp. Excellent!I had the Old Fashion drink. One of my favorites here. Done perfectly! Great bar tender!Very reasonably priced! We didn’t feel like nor did we spend a fortune for a bite to eat! Very hard to find these days.Again let me say fantastic job Cindy! Thank you so much for your hospitality and excellent!Looking for lunch or dinner, make a stop here. No disappointments!
I never had a good experience at Longhorn in the half dozen times I tried them at various restaurants. I've never gave this Longhorn steakhouse a chance until now. It was fantastic. Great service. Steak was cooked perfectly. Very clean Including the restroom. I may have to stop by for just a beer and a order of their signature stuffed mushrooms while on the go. I will have to put this a notch above Outback with the desired appetizer to deside on whether to go to Texas Roadhouse (love those cheese cactus bites) or Longhorn steakhouse.
