I've been eating here periodically for about 18 years. I love it! my favorite is the Bistec ala Mexicana
Great Food! Friendly staff and atmosphere! We came here with friends and just loved this place. They have large dining areas inside and out, the servings are large. I enjoyed the crispy tacos...3 Huge ones filled with chicken, cheese. Their Guacamole was some of the best I e ever tried. The Cheviche looked so good, my friend loved it and I love Cheviche but I absolutely can not stand that cilantro but it was incorporated in their dish. Quesadilla are also delicious and our table enjoyed the spicy cucumbers.
This place was hoping!!! Speedy service, great vibe and flavorful food! I got the shrimp chimimichanga and a spicy margarita....total of bill was only $23!!! And that wasn't even during happy hour! Definitely recommend to cure your Mexican cravings!
A lot of people told me it was good but I found it to be very poor food
It was busy but very efficient. Great service. The food was fabulous. I had the Ultimate Nachos and they loaded so much meat that I couldn't even eat it all.
I love Mexican food! Never had chimichangas like this before! Very dry! The service was subpar. We weren’t given any plates for our chip and salsa or was even offered refills. We were so hungry and waited a long time to even put our orders in. And yet even though the chip bowl had crumbs still no refill. This is not the service seen around though because a new group walked in and they had plates AND was offered refills. Could not help but feel like it was prejudice. Point is, this place did not feel welcoming at all. They should treat everyone who walks in with great customer service. Very disappointing experience.
I have been coming to this place for months to get take out. I love the queso dip and quesadillas. I am a vegetarian and very picky eater. My grandpop came here every weekend and got a full meal. My parents came in also a lot for dinner.I guess they didn’t like that I wasn’t spending enough money when I came because I only would order the queso dip and quesadilla. Staff was always rude to me but I let it go just assuming they were busy and short staffed. The last time I came in they refused to give me chips to go with my 5$ queso dip. They never refused to give chips with the queso dip any other time or to my family when they came. The staff was so rude and made me feel like I wasn’t ordering enough food to come there. Mind you, I had ordered a quesadilla, jalapeño poppers, and THREE large orders of queso dip. They refused to give me chips for any of the dip I ordered and made me buy the chip’s seperately. What was I supposed to do with the dip without chips, eat it with a spoon??From now on I will be spending my money at Iguana Mia in Cape Coral. They had much friendlier staff who didn’t shake you down to spend more money. Rude and stingy staff. Will never be back and neither will my family members. When I finally got home with my food, I found this long hair baked into the cheese on my quesadilla.Disgusting and rude.
This place was recommended to us and we were ready for some good Mexican food. Sadly, we were very disappointed. Carnitas had no flavor and didn't really taste like pork. The meat was watery. The refried beans were tasteless. The guac was not good. Chips and salsa were superb. We wanted more, but couldn't get anyone over to the table after 20 minutes of waiting to ask for more. Not sure why this place is so busy. Maybe it was just a bad day, but we will definitely not go back. The Mexican platter was bland. We both ate less than 1/4 of our dinners. Very disappointing.
I came here for the first time at about 1:30pm on a Saturday and they were busy. They could have used another person on staff in my opinion. The employees were nice though. This place is more of a sit-down style restaurant and not like a grab and go taco shop. I ordered two burritos to-go and it didn't take too long to get, probably about 25min. They have a bar inside you can get some alcohol at and free chips and salsa. The food was okay. I'm from San Diego, CA so I'm slightly biased when it comes to Mexican food because we are spoiled in San Diego with arguably the best Mexican food in the country. There's no drive-thru but there is plenty of parking. The prices are decent too. I'd come back if I'm ever in the area again. You can also call your order in and pick it up. I'd recommend doing that if you don't want to sit down and eat there.
Steak tacos and chicken tacos were flavorless-zero. Rice and refried beans-bland. Zero flavor. Salsa-bland. No kick whatsoever. Zero flavor other than cilantro. Margarita-flat. Definitely the worst “Mexican” food I ever had. Absolutely no flavor. No spices. No nothing. Never again.
