First time coming here and the very first thing i noticed was the entrance to this place looks very run down. They might of had a koi pond at some point but now it's just gutted. We asked to sit at the grill and ended up with another group of people and they were not that talkative or impressed by the chef so it made it kinda boring. The food was pretty good. I was expecting more but for the price it was not so bad. I only rated 3 stars for first impressions and maybe don't combine groups of random people together.
I was just at Kumo's with my friend's celebrating a birthday and we were not satisfied with the service. The chef surprised the server causing him to drop the dishes in his hands all over my friend's lap. My friend had dressing and salad all over his clothes. The chef was just laughing and did not even apologize. The chef gave double rice and triple vegetable to one customer. The food distribution was not proportional. We spent a descent amount of money for our food but received far less. The chef was fully aware of what he was doing because he gave us all the same small amount. I should have asked for the manager but my friend did not want to make it a big deal. We were not satisfied and very disappointed in how we were treated.
The chefs are fun and excellent cooks!Front desk guys need coaching. They pulled out their phones, browsing the web, while 3 groups of 8 are staring at you waiting on 45 minute late reservations.
Tried this place a few weeks ago and again yesterday. A few weeks ago food was slow to come out. Staff stood around talking. Yesterday, I walked in and no host. Two people sitting on benches waiting for food. A gentleman came from the kitchen, dropped something at a table, then walked away and began putting out soy sauce on the hibachi side of the restaurant which was completely empty. I walked to the Sushi Bar and asked: Do I seat myself? The gentleman told me to sit right down. I did. Ten minutes later, no menu still, a woman comes out with the "to go" orders . She hands them to the people at the entrance and walks right by me. She then stands to wait for to go stuff and I am less than 5 feet from her. I stood up and said: Goodbye. Not one person tried to apologize or stop me and give me a menu. Face it, they don't care. Saw four people heading in on my way out and wished the good luck. The came out about five minutes after they went in. I wonder, the same experience? The place is dark yet you notice filth everywhere. Hard pass for me!
Definitely good and we were enjoy our meal until a roach popped out the one in the picture

Made reservations on a Saturday for 8:30 pm, showed up about 10 minutes early and was told table was ready. Service was prompt and very pleasant. Experience was very entertaining and interacting with entire family. Definitely worth going back again.
Dinner and a show!!! My husband and I took his mother out for Valentine's Day and had the best time. I ordered the Hibachi Special, just so that I could try the most things, and I'm so glad I did. All of the chefs were fantastic showmen, but ours was the best :)

Food wasn't that good. The soup tasted like dirty water and the steak tasted like it was old or rotten. They add alot of favor to hide that taste... The staff were very polite and had a good work ethic. Sucks I had to write a bad review. I won't be going back..
