Absolutely horrible service and staff!! Very unfriendly & unprofessional. If you try to call they will not answer. Once you place your order they will immediately call after the funds are deducted & explain that the items you ordered aren't available and you must choose something else. This has happened repeatedly with no sympathy or compassion. Once you place your online order and arrive you will still wait 20-30 minutes for your food. The staff extremely rude & show no appreciation for choosing to patronize the establishment despite the inconvenience. My dad is 83 & recently lost his wife(my mom) of 53 years. Eating good jamaican food is one thing that still brings a smile to his face, but I will never again be going to Irie & will choose an establishment that appreciates the business & its loyal customers. If you want bad or negative vibes then Irie is the spot.

Went in at 1 pm on a weekday. Waited 15 mins to order though they were only two people in front of me. Was then told the Jerk Chicken wasn't ready. WTH? They'd been open since 9 am which means the chef was there at least prior to that. I may try again some other time. I just hope they have all their menu items ready during open hours when I do.

Terrible experience, went in here to get a good meal cause I didn’t feel like cooking today. Bad decision...I would of been better off eating noodles. I had got a large jerk chicken which was 15 dollars. The chicken wasn’t grilled it was baked, they give you little bit of jerk sauce, the food wasn’t even that hot, the lady who took my order and gave me my food had terrible customer service. She didn’t greet me and when she handed me my food didn’t tell me to have a good day. I would never go here again. Wish I could give 0 stars. Now I see why they didn’t have but 2 other customers in there. Bad business

My family and I lived in the Caribbean for years and have eaten jerk in Jamaica many times. This place is absolutely legit. Very authentic menu all around. Would go more often if the prices weren't so high at $13/lb for the chicken. But I certainly can't complain about the quality and taste.

WOW!!!!! This is the best food I’ve had since I’ve been in fort Myers! (4months) I ordered the jerk chicken with Mac n cheese and rum cake….OMG I’m so full. I intended to eat this after my work out but I didn’t even make it out of the parking lot! I don’t normally eat spicy but I forgot to ask for mild so my chicken was spicy BUT I couldn’t stop eating it and that’s almost a first for me. Definitely worth a try of you’re in the area and looking for authentic Jamaican cuisine

This place makes me feel like home! Very welcoming, Food's amazing, staff if very pleasant. Very nice and clean. My wife and I simply loved it.

Let me start off by saying that a restaurant is only as successful as the staff running it. The staff at Irie-I are so kind, the woman Tammy is a breath of fresh air. The food portion was satisfactory & tasted great. We bought a variety of items, including patties, oxtail, rum cake, plantains & some soda. Overall a good experience that we will be returning. Being Jamacian American it’s hard to find authentic Island food. TMI - but my grandma passed away last December and this brought me back home. The smell of the restaurant and the warmth Tammy brings to the location is undeniable. I strongly recommend this restaurant for all your island cravings ! Try something new today, anyone can make a burger! It takes love to make jerk chicken!

Food was NOT pleasant ! The rice had a weird taste to it. The Ackee and salt fish had diced green peppers in it. Never in my life seen ackee made so . It must be Americans making the dishes . Total waste of $20. Also I purchased carrot juice which tasted old . No date was on it for me to see if it expire or not . Clumps and everything ! So disappointed I wasted my money . This is my honest review

It's my favorite restaurant in all of fort myers! I hadn't been there in a while and they recognized me through my mask and knee exactly what I wanted, so if you become a regular your great Jamaican cuisine will be ready before you can ask for it. It's just REALLY good food

Let me first acknowledge that the staff here is very nice always have been. On multiple occasions I have been given a up size when I have asked for a small or medium and charged. why? No idea, I have brush it off until my person told me they’ve done it to him about three time and he’s no longer spending his money at this establishment. 2 weeks ago I went and order 6 beef Pattie’s the guy whom I assume is the owner told the girl on the cash register to charge me for 6 Pattie’s. I left with the bag when I got down the road I opened the bag only to find 5 , I called back explaining to the young lady that I was over charged for what I had ( she told me to come back , I told her I would get it the next time I was in. Yesterday I went in explained what happened and the guy had the freaking nerve to ask me why I didn’t come back and that he needs proof. He’s my proof he knows exactly what he did. It was not the matter of the $2.50 it’s the fact that he deliberately had me charged and didn’t put it the bag , that was really disgusting. I am completely done with this place. Found a really lovely place at the Welsh street plaza between the barber shop and boutique or I’ll drive 17miles to Lehigh so I don’t have to set foot need that place again.
