I selected this location for a 2-night stay during a stressful final visit to my husband's father in Cape Coral Hospital. We came in from Tennessee and had no knowledge of the area. The customer reviews on Hotels.com were so excellent that I decided it was worth the extra money to stay here. I included the breakfast for two days and paid extra for it. The night we arrived we had dinner at the attached restaurant. It was extremely overpriced and the food was not good. The frazzled lone restaurant employee had been there since 6 am (this was 8:30 pm). I wouldn't have gone back but I had already paid for the breakfast. Their breakfast buffet was less than desirable. The food was not good and the selection was very poor. It was so bad that I wasted the 2nd breakfast I prepaid for and went to Perkins instead. The hotel room was clean. However, the television signal kept going in and out all night, both nights on every channel. When all we wanted to do was relax and watch television, we could not. My husband and I are both handicapped and after a long day, we head to our room on the 4th floor toward the end of the hallway to find that both of our keys did not work for the 2nd night. We had to traipse down to the front desk to get them reactivated. It doesn't seem like a big deal, but when every step you take is painful, it was annoying, at best. We paid way too much for this basic hotel. When we checked out, nobody bothered to ask how our stay was and my card was automatically charged, even though I was told I could use a different card at check out.

The Ft-Myers Skatium was holding a 60+ Hockey tournament in Mid-March and we, the Green Machine, Pembroke Pines, decided to attend. The whole team was booked at the Holiday Inn with the help of Manager Jessica. Great Location, staff was very accommodating and the restaurant had a great buffet breakfast. The rooms were updated, the beds comfortable. Pool scene was cozy.During the day between games we dried our equipment in the back parking lot while playing Corn Hole. All in all we had a great experience and are definitely coming back next year.

The manager Dave was very unprofessional. In fact he never gave my credit card back, and then instead of charging for one night he charged me for two nights. I called about card when I got home and he denied keeping it. It was the last place I used it. Very much a dingy motel, no jacuzzi. pretty horrible. refrigerator in room did not work, and staff is sub par. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else.

Oh this was quite the experience, staying at this hotel. I should've knew something was off, when the keycards wasn't official IHG keycards. So much wrong here, our entire group checked out the next day, and we were supposed to stay a week. So much wrong here:*Filthy surfaces*Huge gaps under all doors*Strange people in the parking lot area. The entire neighborhood isn't the greatest.*Microwave and fridge also dirty*Weird smell in the room*Nasty room carpetsA lot of the negative reviews are 100% accurate about this property. I've never stayed at a IHG property, that was in thus condition. Horrific. The pictures doesn't do it justice, on how bad it was.

I had an excellent stay. I hung out at the pool, the bar and my room. The bed was very comfortable and was very quiet despite the hotel being busy. The location was perfect for me, close to downtown which was a blast. The drive to thebeachs werent too bad. I visited Sanibel and Lovers key at Ft Myers Beach. Kudos to the nice staff. Edison Ford Estates was a few minutes away but didn't make it there.

Although this hotel doesn't seem like anything bad from the outside or even the lobby, once you enter the hallways leading to your room you can see the hotel is dated with its worn carpets and stained walls. For over $250 a night we definitely expected better than the experience we got. When we walked into our room I almost had to walk out because the smell was so bad. It smells like smoke but also cleaning chemicals. It's like they tried to cover the smoke smell but failed horribly. The beds are hard and uncomfortable. Although the pillow cases are labeled firm and soft they are all super soft. There was hair on our bathroom ceiling of all places ... and the bathroom was tiny. The ice machine was out of order. The doors are not sealed well so you can hear every little thing happening in the hall.Let's just say we're so glad we're only staying here one night before moving on to the next location of our trip.Really the only thing we can positivity say about this hotel if the wonderful gentleman who helped check us in. He is the only reason we would give this place 1 star instead of 0 if we could. We've been to really nice Holiday Inns before and even stayed in one a few weeks ago in the Orlando area, but please do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else here in Fort Myers.

Gave 2 stars just because the desk clerk was a+ nice. Hotel is over run with homeless people trying to sell stolen goods in the parking lot as you come & go. We were on a fishing trip and as such, we had a boat & gear with us in our vehicle. We watched as the questionable people in the lot were much too interested in our property from the time we arrived walking back & forth staring at our stuff & looking in our windows. Even door locks to property are broken. They looked to be repaired but rebroken multiple times. Even after paying for our room, we left & got a room elsewhere taking the loss. No way to feel comfortable nor safe in this place. Worst IHG property ever. Canceled reservation for staying again on way back. Would never recommend to anyone for any reason. I would rather sleep in my car in a Walmart parking lot.

I was sent to their hotel to be quarantined from the CoronaVirus and although the staff was great and the rooms were clean for whatever reason I am now on their "banned" list and Lee Memorial Hospital couldn't tell me why. This is why I gave them a 2 star rating otherwise, I would've given them a 5 star review. Also, the laundry people who are 3rd party contractors lost my laundry which consisted of nice shirts and pants. They never were found and I ended up with someone else's laundry. Upon returning the laundry that wasn't even mine, they accepted the wrong party's laundry yet I never received mine back. Weird. How's that for service? FREE 10 day hotel voucher in exchange for FREE clothes for them??

Front desk staff seems slightly although it was very very friendly answered all my questions efficiently and all its plea got to my room quickly fresh clean easy access upon exiting encounter the same about the first best staff different people were slightly off but extremely friendly and knowledgeable I appreciate the establishment as I'm sure the city of Fort Myers does creating jobs for the locals tax dollars for the city had a clean place to stay for the guests

Low water pressure to include Shower and Sink.Wi-Fi is very poor.To many people of color is always loitering outside this hotel all hours throughout the day and night.I advised the morning staff about my low water pressure in my room on December 30, 2021 at approximately 9:00 AM and she stated to me that the entire hotel had low water pressure and they were working on theissue and it would be taken care of. Uponarriving back at the hotel at approximately 6:00pm that night I proceeded to my room and observed that the water pressure was still the same from last night. I approached the staff and stated to them that the water pressure was still the same from last night the staff on duty explained to me that she never was informed about this issue and she tried to accommodate me by switching rooms but those 2 rooms also had low water pressure to no avail.
