We went for Easter brunch. Food was very good, they had a minor issue and the manager took care of it very quickly. The atmosphere was great a very nice restaurant to be in. The reason for 4 star and not 5 is the service unfortunately was not good. Being a brunch the waiter did not have to serve any food, all he had to do was remove plates, provide drinks, and give us our bill in a timely manner which none of that was done, and they added a 20% tip for a very poor waiter to our bill. With that said the food was very good!
Awful. Terrible. $43 a plate for Mother’s Day brunch. What a waste of money. Every single bit of that food was the lowest grade of quality. Everything was dried out and tasteless. It was ALL either store brand Publix (like the ice cream) which was melted and sitting on a bed of melted ice, or dry and cheap like the terrible rolls and meats. The salad was literally just arugula most likely because I was on sale. It was disgusting. The ice tea was watered down and every server looked like they hated their job and were miserable. We constantly felt as if we were in the way when the wait staff walked by us. 20% tip was added whether you liked it or not. For an almost $300 meal I’d rather make it myself. I am disgusted by the joke they played on their customers at this Mother’s Day brunch. Disgusting. The building itself is lovely but being that it’s built in the 1950s you would think they would try to preserve it and show its beauty. No, they just painted a lot of it black and left It in the past. The fake flowers and mismatched center pieces were cheap and ugly looking too. I only mention this due to the cost we paid.
Mother's Day Brunch Buffet was way overpriced, food was bland , generic ,soggy and cold.Sterno heated with little heat distribution for large pans.Thought the toast was ok,then revealed to be French Toast? Bottomless Mimosa's we're just orange juice, as you couldn't even taste any champagne and certainly after several of our guest had the same amount,we all agreed we didn't have any champagne in it.Service was okay, but felt it was more like a High Schooler serving you a pancake breakfast.$135 for two people, ridiculous.I have never left a review till now,but wouldn't want anyone to waste their money.Expected more for their Edison references and adjacent country club.
Very busy with banquet and Kentucky Derby. Our server Desi was very efficient and apologized for delays that were understandable. Food good and beautiful facility
I called and made a reservation for 18 people. When we all got there, they knew nothing about our reservation. Luckily they were able to set up the tables for us with a short wait. I was upset because my party was saying I didn’t make a reservation when I actually did 5 days in advance. We were told to have patience because they had a lot of people outside. I have to say the food was good but one of our party never got his entree. Some ordered appetizers and they came after the main meal which was not wanted after eating.
Do not waste your time. We waited an hour after ordering. Never saw our waitress. No refills. When she did come by she rushed by us and rudely said your food will be out soon. Thing is we ordered appetizers and salad. No other words nothing. Worst experience ever
I made reservations for two for 5:30 on Sunday March 6, 2022. Arrived on time through the bar and asked the wait staff where should I go to be seated for my reservation-/ she directed me to the front hall where we waited for 5 minutes and no one showed up. We went back to the bar and the server said she could seat us and we picked a table. We were the only ones seated at a table. We placed our order. Got our beverages, was told they were out of meatloaf My husband selected the grouper platter -/ the same as my order. We waited for an hour and did not receive our food -/ I requested a the bill for our beverages and advised our we would not be staying. As we waited for the bill— the food arrived -I advised her we were no longer interested in staying and we left. Some other women came out and said she would comp us and I declined — I am not interested in a free meal but rather a reasonable dining experience and this was not. Furthermore, I have been coming her for 12 years and it is a shame to see such a decline in what used to be a favorite place to go.
Two golf widows stopping in to wait on our golfers. Drawn in by the reviews online. Very disappointing compared to media online. Not really any happy hour to speak of, although it’s posted online from 4-7.We’ll be grabbing our golfers and hitting the road.Bartender was pleasant.
We waited 1 hour for our food to come out of the kitchen. My grouper was overcooked and dry, my baked potato was Luke warm and I never received my spinach.
