9 out 10 times I'm satisfied with the food and the service. Generally dissatisfied with the check out process, it's slow and time consuming when I would like to be on my way. Main hold up is they are trying to mix merchandising with food service check out.The store is a good idea but why mix the two completely different operations. Why not pay the server at the end of the meal? And another thing where did the oatmeal and apple pie go? Down right un-American.Thanks for being there though! I know it's been extremely difficult over the last two years and overall Cracker Barrel and it's employees deserve a lot of credit. Thanks Again, I'll keep coming back.
Great food and the service was great, I'm always feel welcome, the servers greet you with a smile. Thank you.
Food wasn’t good. The chicken & dumplings were horrible.
The food was great. The server wasn't. She only checked back one time, to bring my bill even though I wasn't a third done. Never offered to refill my drink. But it won't deter me from going back.
First time at Cracker Barrel and it didn't disappoint. Lovely food and the decor is really cool and a cool shop with amazing old style American candy's.
I was having such a good time. The food was good. The customer service was over the top. Very pleasant staff. I love, love, love the sovereigns. I recommend this place.
Drama. Drama. Drama. Oh. My. Goodness. Big deal. I don't actually care.As a customer, it's kind of concerning when your waitresses are whispering and talking amongst themselves about calling someone and something happening to something. I know, crazy right? The food was good, don't get me wrong, but the efficiency of this place was not on par, especially for being right off the highway. Our waitress had to be reminded various times to serve her tables and made many apologies - which only get you so far before your customers become agitated. Also, we had to wait 10 minutes before we were even asked about drinks, more or less food.I would visit this place again, but if there was another one nearby my place of resort, I would much rather join them for an old fashioned country dinner.
Shannon was the ONLY waitress and was working her tail off. NO straws, very cold inside, food was excellent.
Ordered takeout.1. Online orders don't accept gift cards, even ones that can be ran as credit. It requires an address and you can't get around that.2. That made us call - we called in our order. We forgot to specify we wanted blueberry pancakes (don't know if we were supposed to be asked for that or not). We realized our mistake and I called back within 20 seconds of hanging up. It took about a minute to get through the system to get to someone (I have my call logs, I was quick). When I asked politely to adjust our order I was told that it was too late. It was already sent back to the kitchen and there was nothing she could do. When I pressed (I was shocked because I had just gotten off the phone), I was told that I could order more pancakes separately or put the blueberries on the side.I disconnected the call because I couldn't process that they couldn't change something so simple. So I called back. I asked politely if there really wasn't something they could do to change this, I was put on hold and was told that they could make that change. Then I was told to make sure to not make a mistake next time when I order my food. I told her that humans make mistakes, and was told to have a good day.I shouldn't be shamed for forgetting a part of my order, and having to call twice to fix it, or order another order of food just to fix food that likely wasn't even started yet. Good on you if you can start an order of pancakes that fast. Also why not keep them under a hot plate or send them out with a different order? If your online ordering system properly handled gift cards - I wouldn't have had to make such a frustrating call to someone who obviously wasn't having a good day.3. Also - coincidentally most of the blueberries were dumped in one spot.It would have been three stars, but the online system caused this problem in the first place. So minus a star for that. The order was right, and was fixed - but it was a pain to do so and shouldn't have happened to begin with.
You can depend on Cracker Barrel for: --Large portions of basic comfort food--filling, fast, and reasonably priced; --Friendly, attentive service; --Convenient locations close to Interstate highways; But you have to put up with dirty, smelly bathrooms that are usually in need of a wall to wall cleaning; 30-45 minute wait times if you arrive around noon or dinner hour; and parking issues. This Cracker Barrel was no different--we got exactly what we expected.
