Great Chinese take out near downtown Fort Myers.My favorites are general tso tofu, veggie lo mein (leaded with veggies!) and spring rolls.
So disappointed with China Express! I placed an order totaling over $60 though Uber eats. Delivery window said 20-30 mins. No big deal. So at about 25 mins I checked to see where they were at and saw the order was still being worked on. Again, no big deal. Totally get that they get busy and the kitchen might get backed up. That pushed our delivery back 20 mins. Ok that’s fine. Then 20 mins later I check on it and see the driver there, and the order done. Then I see them sit there for the next 10 mins. Mind you I’m coming to the hour mark now. So I call the restaurant and they say my order is done and they are waiting on the 2nd order. And the 2nd order won’t be done for another 15 mins. So to add that plus the drive time I’m looking at another 30 mins. So my order has been sitting there getting cold and nasty while somebody who ordered AFTER me gets their food on the same trip as me. UNACCEPTABLE. Also when I called the guy who talked to me was getting in trouble for telling me this. How unbelievably unprofessional to scold an employee while he’s on the phone being honest about what’s happening.
The Szechuan bean curd is a must try if you are a fan of veggies! Perfect balance of sweet/savory with a hint of heat.
We always get food from this location and the food is always excellent. The oly reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the shrimp chow mein was not so good but everything else I've tried from there has been great.
Decent tofu options, the generals tofu was generous. The Szechuan tofu was cut and prepared differently from the generals so that's always nice when they make the effort to change the tofu for different dishes. They forgot my crispy noodles but oh well no big deal. A pretty solid meal. We have so much leftovers!
If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered 5 entrees from you for delivery and only received 1! It took an hour and 30 minutes to deliver it and I only got 1 item and a side when I had ordered 5. Just plain bad and careless service.
We go out of our way to order here. Best Chinese food around!
Worst Chinese food I have ever ate. I don't even know how they are even allowed to sell such gross food. Special fried rice was horrible and it was just chicken fried rice that was under cooked. Rice was hard chicken was pink. Fried wonton were soaked in grease. Egg roll was really a spring roll. There is nothing Chinese about this food this is ghetto want to be Chinese food and over priced. Just plain disgusting.
As always delicious and reasonably quick! The staff is very nice and helpful.
