Loved the food + drinks and Annie was the best! Definitely coming back
Mariah was an amazing server, so friendly and helpful! Drinks and appetizers were amazing!
Great food and service too!! The weather was beautiful today. Try the hard tacos!
Had smoked pork tacos with red rice. Very good! Server Olivia was friendly, professional and attentive. Inside seating was somewhat noisy but we had a corner booth, so could converse. Great place for food, service and atmosphere.
The menu is extensive and the food and decor is better than most. But what has always impressed us is the staff. The manager Mike ALWAYS visits every table to make sure all is well. I’ve seen him buss a table if it were not cleaned promptly. If you have a concern, he tries to fix it! In these difficult times, he and the waitstaff try very hard and the customers can feel the effort. The total experience is far superior to what you might expect in a chain Mexican restaurant.
Remember that Wendy’s commercial? That’s how my husband and I felt after receiving our ground beef burrito dinners tonight. So much rice and beans that I am not sure why we needed sides of rice and beans as well! I do have to say though that Mike - the manager - asked us how our dinner was and we told him. He made it right with a discount on our bill which was a huge surprise because we ate it - we were just disappointed. So the restaurant gets big props for Mike! That was a classy act. I won’t order that again… if I return at all. Kind of a lot of rules… chips are two bucks a basket after first basket… can’t have cheese and pork enchilada… has to be cheese or pork.. can’t mix and match. We are here traveling. My Mexican restaurant at home beats this one hands down!
Stopped for lunch. Our waitress was very good. It was 3:00 pm and it was empty. We were served chips and salsa. Chips were good. Not salty at all. The salsa was extremely smoky tasting. We couldn’t eat it. I ordered the carne asada with a side salad and refried beans. Very nice portions. The steak was very good and lots of flavor. The beans were not good at all. Very bland. The salad was okay. The salad dressing was so thick. Like a scoop of thick sour cream. Something with avocado. Tasted okay but way too thick. I would have liked a couple of tortillas with my meal for $23.99. All in all it was no better than average. Will not return. A little pricey for me!
We shared the Tuesday taco special, and it was enough for us. The soft tacos with shredded chicken were very good, as were the refried beans. The salsa with the chips was excellent--very fresh and delicious, as were the abundant chips.
Go to Costco and get a frozen Mexican dinner, it will be as good or better. When I go to a Mexican place the first time I order a chimichanga, it’s an easy one. I guess not that easy, very dry, very bland, a very forgettable meal. Next time I’ll go to Chipotle instead.
Visited here with family and friends tonight for the first time. Conveniently located in the Gulf Coast shopping mall. Staff was courteous and professional. Food was hot and delicious. Chips and salsa were also really good. Would visit again and definitely recommend.
