My first experience was a good one going back several months. I bought the family for a birthday dinner to be greeted by an unfriendly owner and a completely curt and rude waitress. All the meals were subpar. The "homemade bolognese" was the worse I ever had, the portions were small, and the quality was poor. We received a half portion of an entree (charged $28.00 for a appetizer portion of noodles with a scant amount of meat sauce on it. We asked for more, and we were charged five dollars more for additional meat sauce! We had to get up to ask for service several times even though the restaurant was scantily patroned. No wonder. We will not return. Would definitely not recommend.
Best Italian cuisine in SW Florida
Any restaurant can have a bad night. Unfortunately, I was there on that night. Only half full, but the food from the kitchen was slooooow. Over an hour from order to service. Very unfortunately, the food served was only mediocre. Prices are high...a plain pasta dish is $16.00, but the server said it was "imported". Recommended by a friend, but I'll never go back....too many much better Italian restaurants in the area.
Service was poor, asked for bread at the beginning came out when we were though eating, refused it. My husband ordered Bolognese, was just ok, a large fork full portion for $25.. I had Amatriciana, it had a weird taste and I sent it back. For those of you who rate this place above 3 stars, you certainly are NOT aware of what good Italian food is.....I was referred there by a friend and I will not pass on the courtesy.
Amazing food. Waitress was friendly & very attentive! If we lived here it would definitely be a place to be a regular.

Some of the best Italian food you will eat in this area! The Gnocchi are pillow-soft and nutty and to die for! The Veal, fork-tender, in an outstanding sauce. Delicious wine and dessert. Casual yet upscale ambience and wonderful service. This is a must stop for those in search of the better Italian choices!
