Didn't sit inside so I can't rate that part. The happy hour is good but it's just rolls. I would have to try it again and sit inside to rate it higher. My drink was weak pineapple martini tasted like straight pineapple juice. Our waitress was good.
We where on vacation to celebrate our daughters High School graduation who finished High School as a valedictorian. When I made the reservation it asked if it was for a special occasion, I said yes and what we we’re celebrating. When we arrived the hostess was not very personable. She seated us in the far back corner where the kitchen was. The menus where crinkly and folding up on the edges, our waitress was okay and they did nothing to recognize what we where celebrating. I guess I just had high hopes for this restaurant that a friend recommended to me to try while we where there. The food was just okay as well, next time I think we will go to the one downtown I heard it’s much better.
Blue Sushi on Max Gregor sucks. They take orders on Uber Eats, and then either make customers wait or they cancel the order after you wait an hour plus. If the owner wants to call me great I will be happy to have a discussion but I highly doubt he will… we will never order from them again!!!! Why agree to signing up with a delivery service when you only make your customers wait, or to be totally disappointed. Customers do not need excuses on staffing, we are customers, we are going to other restaurants from now on!!! Close the store if you are going to give excuses or stop the agreement with food delivery services.
We had absolutely fantastic sushi here. Not just my opinion, but the family agreed, and they really like their sushi. Service was good too.
The service was very nice. I love the whole blue and water theme. The sushi was fresh and the drink was not watered down. The Blu Special was amazing and so filling. The Aloha Mr. Edison was very good also. I look forward to going back.
Apparently I went to the wrong location because it doesn’t look anything like the downtown location. I’ve been eating sushi a long time and I would give this place a C at best for their sushi. There are plenty of other places I’d rather spend my hard earned money. Sorry but that’s just a fact. There is some nice eye candy here but other than that it’s just average. I might consider giving the downtown location a try at some point but I have too many other places that I prefer.
I hate to write this review as I was visiting for the first time. We were greeted and served immediately. I was So excited to try the tuna roll. However, my stomach was not. I received food poisoning the next day. Be careful of what you order!
Delicious and fresh sushi and inventive yummy drinks. Incredible service!!!
I’v visited Blu Sushi many times for the past 8 years. The past 3 times i’v had food missing and subpar food. The first time I chalked it up to honest mistakes. Then, two more times. For $46 I should get enough Teriyaki sauce that isn’t COLD to cover my chicken and uncooked vegetables. The Broccoli is fresh and I only know that because it’s raw. My miso soup was missing. The rice that goes with the entree is just Sushi rice and it had a sour taste to it, like they added a bunch of lemon juice. My sushi, was ok. The flavor was decent but it was unusually warm. For $19.95, the Chicken Teriyaki is a rip off. Not even a full chicken breast, no seasoning or flavoring on the vegetables or chicken, uncooked vegetables, not enough teriyaki sauce, sour sushi rice. My meal wasn’t even edible. This is sad to say because Blu used to be the best in the area, no one could compare. Now, it’s not even edible. I am now sitting in my kitchen making chicken teriyaki how chicken teriyaki should taste. If you can’t make the item properly, it shouldn’t be on the menu. Stick to sushi.
We visited Blu. Was very busy. We loved the atmosphere and the service was fast and attentive. The sushi was fresh and delicious. They have alot of fun cocktails. Definitely recommend
