It is very difficult to find good food or restaurants in SWFL. But when I do, I have to pay a compliment! This restaurant is run by a husband and wife and when you walk in, you are greeted like family. I ordered the filet medallions in a demi glace and peppercorn sauce with mashed potatoes. Both melted in my mouth like butter! The French onion soup was both rich and sweet just like the delicious fruit dessert I ordered, Clafouti! As always, I like to report if this is ADA accessible and it is not, unfortunately.
It was delightful. The atmosphere is pleasant, the staff is knowledgeable and easy to speak with. The menu has a fantastic selection and everything we had was perfect. I don't think you can go wrong with anything.
This restaurant has it all!!! From the amazing, charming atmosphere, to the kind, caring and service oriented staff...to the food. Wow! This is a true epicurean experience even for the most discerning taste. Go...go today! You won't be disappointed.
Absolutely wonderful meal at Blanc tonight! Started off with oysters Rockefeller which were amazing. Mila our server, spent lots of time explaining the specials which made my husband want the 14 oz pork chop and he absolutely loved it! I got the fillet mignonette with potatoes gratin which were some of the best I’ve ever had. The owner Lori checked on us several times to make sure everything was good. And it certainly was! Even my bottle of wine delicious! You must come and enjoy!
A 5 star restaurant that seats less than 40 including bar seats? A bar on one side and tables and seats on other shock the first time visitor to one of the best restaurants in SW Florida! How can something so diminutive generate some of the most outstanding repertoire of diverse dishes. What if the perfect Dover sole matched the elegance of Le Curque or Daniels in NYC? Or the 16 oz Berkshire farms grilled to perfection pork chop competed with Tom Kellers Laundry? Impossible? Well I’ve been to all and this tiny hard to find classic is worth the trip and the cost. Service. Perfect Quality and choice Superb Ok that’s enough just tell Laurie or was it Laura that Skip the gourmand said you must try. Average tab per person 50 to $80.
My husband and I are new to Ft. Myers and still discovering new dining opportunities. Well Blanc is quite the find and based on our first experience, it was truly one of the best meals we have eaten in Ft. Myers! The ambiance was chic cozy, with a European feel. The food was exceptional! I have a gluten sensitivity, so chef adapted the tuna appetizer and the escargot for me. The wine recommendation was excellent and nicely priced. My husband and I shared the dover sole special and it was SO GOOD, I can't even say enough. Our friend had the duck and it was sizable and looked amazing. Flan dessert was delicious and the presentation of our espresso and cappuccino were fantastic! The staff and owners are beyond warm and accommodating. I highly recommend the chic, intimate and delicious experience at Blanc to anyone who wants good food and good people in a wonderful setting! BTW, reservations are STRONGLY recommended!
WOW great experience tonight a real unexpected delight. We were goi g to Barbara B To see a show. Thought we would try Blanc so glad we did the staff was amazing, friendly, helpful, thoughtful and offered great wine and good suggestions. Will come back
I been living in Florida for 2 years and trying to find good restaurants, I have to say this is the best restaurant by far. The food is just amazing, the place and fun and cozy. Definitely my new favorite place to go out for a good dinner. And the prices are very reasonable
