WOW! This is hands down the most delicious Chinese takeout I’ve had in SW Florida, and they’re open til 9:30pm! I was on my way home late, and our regular place was already closed. Called #1 Wok at 9pm and they had my dinner packed and ready to go at 9:15. The whole team there was great and the food was AMAZING. Mu Shu Pork was the perfect balance of meat and Napa cabbage, the sauce was light, flavorful and bright. Shrimp & Veggie Fried Rice was fragrant and delicate, not salty or greasy at all. The only thing I added to it was a little soy sauce, and it was perfect! The shrimp was fresh and sweet, the veggies crisp and vibrant.I’ve eaten at some of the best Chinese restaurants in the US, and this rivaled them all. What an unexpected gem!This will be our new takeout place going forward for sure! Thanks for taking good care of us #1 Wok!
False advertising. If you look up the menu, all prices are listed. If you go there to order all the prices are doubled. I showed them their website prices + he said it must be very old. So either honor the prices you advertise on line or take the site down until you fix it!
OMG, Seriously the BEST take out I have had in years! Shrimp and broccoli combo is my go to and this place didn’t disappoint! The brown sauce and pork fried rice had such an amazing flavor. The shrimps were huge and tasted fresh! Broccoli was cooked perfectly! The portions were also big for a small order and was very reasonable priced! Will be back for more!!!
Best food…. Be prepared to wait quite awhile because they are that good— super busy!!They need to EXPAND TO ACCOMMODATE PARKING AND WAITING IN LINE!!((Y’all quit parking in the fire lane as well— causes too much fights))
Ordered 2 egg rolls and the lady who works there threw it at me then said “sorry” and walked away. The food is good but the people who work here are very rude for no reason! Have some hospitality if people are coming to your restaurant to spend their money! Thats how you keep customers but hey there’s only so much I can say. Do better and I bet you would have way more customers
Was looking for a decent Takeout shop after moving here from NJ. After trying 3 or 4 different places I happened to come upon #1Wok. You can't go wrong with this place.Food is prepared to perfection and plenty of it.
Most amazing Chinese food I ever had! I usually don't like Chinese food but after this one it just feels like I never had the good Chinese!! Quantity and quality both awesome! Recommend to everyone
This is by far the best takeout you can get in Fort Myers. The prices are good and the food is always good. They are generous with the portions and everything is fresh.The only thing to keep in mind is that if you place an order on their website (which is easy) and want to pick up the food at a later time there is the real possibility they will prepare it early. So place your order about 15 minutes before arriving and is almost always ready when you arrive.Then just enjoy the smell all the way home and enjoy a great dinner.
Best Chinese takeout food in the area. Don't confuse other #1 Wok restaurants in the area with same name, for this #1 Wok location. This particular location is unique and does a very good job preparing the food. Good portions and tastes great. Getting Chinese takeout should always be this simple ?.
We ordered online. The pickup was actually the easiest it has been in years. The lady at the door was very friendly. However, when we got home, we were missing half of an entree, our veggies were covered in a spicy gravy, and someone else's special order was in our food. I called to inquire about getting a refund on the missing portions or at least a credit. The person who answered said I could call next time and tell them they owe me an entree. I then asked how this would be recorded and guaranteed. We have eaten here before and had similar problems but the manager working last time refused to provide what was promised. When I asked for assurance, I was told "my manager doesn't speak english and he might be rude to you". This is unacceptable. Get it together.And to make matters worse: The egg rolls taste like freezer burn. NEVER AGAIN
