We have been traveling to Pompano Beach area for over 20 years as we fell in love with it. In the 90's when my son was little, we always went here at least twice during a trip. The bar was lovely, and they would play old tunes by Frank Sinatro, Dean Martin and relaxing music. Probably a lot of locals would come to sit and chill. We finally decided to go back - once last summer and once this summer. My review is for this past June 2022's visit. This time, the music was awful. It wasn't even something I would choose to attract young people. The bar is still lovely, but the rest of the place has been redecorated and isn't pretty. I think they removed booths, and it was unattractive. (Except we liked the chef's murals done on the walls). Even though the acoustics in the restaurant aren't the best as far as people talking, it didn't bother us back then. It's a large restaurant. We went there on this trip, and it was very chaotic and noisy. The waiters seemed too rushed to help you with decisions. Our waitress acted as if we were just an "add-on" table that she was helping out with. We had two ravioli lovers, and they didn't have ravioli except for some exotic type in the specials. They didn't have pizza. It's an Italian restaurant. That was okay for most of our group, but I found the food to be mediocre. The waitress checked and told the ravioli lovers the chef would make them ravioli but didn't tell them it was with an alfredo type sauce. I tasted them and they tasted like a junior chef had made the sauce - it was floury. I got meatballs and pasta with marinara sauce. The meatballs were tasteless. I only ate half of one (they are large). I normally take leftover meatballs back to the resort where we stay. Last year, we did go to this restaurant once and they had a terrific singer come in the evening. Before that, we hadn't gone here for many years. There are so many restaurants in the area, and we were exploring other places. This singer was the only good thing I can say about the restaurant. I think it was a Friday night. I can say the atmosphere and food was not pleasant like it used to be. We're going back to the Italian restaurant a few doors away which we visit frequently now. Better food and better atmosphere.

I used the Groupon offer and it worked out perfectly! We have never been here before. We ordered garlic bread with marinara which I enjoyed. For my entree I ate the lamb chops and my partner ate the lasagna. I absolutely loved my chops cooked medium. The tiny sauce cup served with the chops added the perfect flavor of herbs with the meat and mash! Server was a kind gentleman. Thanks for a great experience!

First time here. Nicely greeted and seated right away, though the restaurant was quite busy. Service was a bit slower than expected, but once we ordered, the food was served fairly quickly. The portions were nice, as we both left feeling full and satisfied. We had the Filet of Sole, which came with a side of Mashed Potatoes. The fish was tasty but not something I'd order again. We also had Mussels over Linguine, with a white sauce. It had a decent amount of Mussels and a nice flavor to it. Desert was a Cannoli, which was a sweet ending to a reasonably good meal.

When here for the first time for my son and his wife fourth year anniversary the food was great the server his name was gal he went above and beyond for us I loved it we will be back

Some places are over hyped. Zuxkwello's is the real old school deal. Our food guide Gal was spot on and most attentive. Try the SHRIMP & CAULIFLOWER GORGONZOLA. This meal was so good I had it twice.

First time for me. First time in a long time for my partner. Both of us were very happy with our meal. It might be our new regular place to go for Italian. We started with the Fried Calamari, it was good, a bit expensive for the portion size, also it danced the line of freshly prepared onsite or in a factory. (2.5⭐️). Bread was great, warm, and crispy. (3⭐️). Wine selection was sufficient and well priced. I was surprised the entrees didn’t come with a soup or salad. I had the Chicken Parmigiana. Very delicious. Pounded thin, tender and delicious. (4⭐️). Chicken Zuckerello was a great take on a stuffed/rollatini. (4⭐️). We’ll be back.

As on my previous visit to Zuckerellos I bought a Groupon voucher for $27 which gave me a value of $40 and included drinks as well. This time I had the Greek salad which was big enough for 2 and the the Zuckerellos chicken which was excellent. It is always busy with locals so best reserve a table.

Cool Italian restaurant with above-average food. Fantastic service and huge portions! The only thing keeping them from a 5-star review is their pricing. It's a little high for Italian food in Ft. Lauderdale.

I always love coming here. Steven greeted me at the door and took me to a table. My server Emilla came over and took my order. I made it on time for the earlybird. I ordered the chicken marsala with mashed potato. Great choice.

I went there with a friend and we haven’t enjoyed anything except the bread. We ordered glasses of wine - very bad quality, the table was dirty, the fried mussarela was oily. We gave up of ordering the main course and left the restaurant. We couln’t believe it was in #3 in the trip advisor. Very very disappointed.
