If you like your meals on time and together, this isn't the place for you. Eight of us ordered at the same time to the same waitress that 'didn't need a note pad', seven meals arrived but one (the steak) "would be a couple of minutes". Seven meals eaten, then the steak arrives, no apology, nothing, so the waitress was informed that it was no longer wanted, still no apology! The seven paid for their meals and we left. Rubbish service and terrible attitude!!!

Monday- Great fish and chips special 10$Wednesday- Burger and Fries + Beer 10$ Top 3 burger of FLLThe regular menu is great too. The Caesar Salad has its own home made dressing which is the best. The only thing on the menu that needs work is the wings.Overall great environment and the staff is still attentive when it gets slammed. You will run into a few knuckleheads that can’t hold their liquor here and there but clearly they ain’t Irish so don’t worry about that! The have most premier league games and great energy when they do. 100% worth stopping by even for a snack.

Good place for a nice pint. The fish dip and Guinness bread were done well; the Fish 'n Chips were okay, definitely left something to be desired and was also supposed to come with mushy peas but they didn't arrive.

100% Irish with Fantastic service and the Best Guinness Pour In all of South Florida.A full menu of Traditional Irish dishes such as bangers and mash and fish-and-chips.

Food was fine but I ordered a mixed drink "on the rocks" and got a $1 up charge! When I emailed then, my response was this "Hi William, Yes we give a stronger pour on rocks drinks which is the reason for the upcharge. You aren’t being charged extra for ice, but rather for extra liquor.". Really? Who are they kidding?

Average establishment to sat the least, staff attentive and friendly enough and the drinks were great. Food average but not great. Ideal location and not a lot else like this anywhere nearby, unless your looking for good restaurants then there’s a few.

This place gives great Irish pub vibes. Huge TV's, tons of Guinness signs & cool, Irish decor.Food-wise, about half good & bad. Good: The Waxy Burger was fantastic. I added cheddar cheese & applewood bacon. Bad: The fish in the Fish n Chips had that obvious previously frozen texture & taste.I'll come back for sure to try other options.

Wanted somewhere to watch the Premier League football. Decent bunch of fans there for an early 10am kick off on a Saturday. Service v friendly, lots of screens showing different games, Smithwicks was perfect, what a way to start the day!

The food was fantastic, the bar tender was amazing BUT what appeared to be the host/server(unclear of job title) was very upset to have our business and made things very unpleasant for our party of 11 until the bar tender helped us. We spend around $300-400 including tip, enjoyed everything else aside from our experience with her and were very happy to have not gone elsewhere despite our initial experience with the host/ server. She should seek out future endeavors elsewhere NOT in the hospitality business since that appears to not be her forte... go for the food not the "welcoming commitee".

We were staying at a hotel close by prior to a cruise and walked over to Waxy's! We had great service by Barry, a great burger and the BEST Reuben sandwich I have ever had! This was not some deli sliced corned beef. It looked hand carved and was thick sliced and had the best flavor! I would go back here just for that sandwich alone. Job well done!
