We were so lucky to have found this place! It was Wednesday night and we heard amazing jazz music spilling out on the street so we checked it out. The staff was so nice, they let us sit with our dog. Every drink we ordered was so tasty. We were sad that we had already eaten because the food also looked so good! We are definitely going back to sample the menu and try more of their cocktail creations.
Walked by this place a few times on 33rd and it always seemed so lively so this time I stopped in for happy hour. They have a great menu. I tried something called Poutine, which is fries with some kind of sauce on it. This was Ropa Vieja Poutine - a shredded beef with gravy - that was very flavorful and filling. I asked for salt and pepper because in South Florida everyone seems to be on a restricted sodium diet which is making the local food very bland, but I didn't need it. The fries were seasoned perfectly as was the meat. I tried two of their cocktails a Snaquiri and a something that came in a tiki glass, which was a lot of fun. I usually only drink wine so I know what rum tastes like when I order it and I really didn't taste much in these drinks, but it was happy hour so I just thought they might be light on the liquor during those hours. I also had some of their nuts which were ooey-gooey so they were fun to eat slowly. The service was pleasant but seemed untrained and young. I know the problems restaurants are facing with staff, but to be honest, my patience is starting to wear a little thin and that's really the only complaint I have about this place. The bartender was helpful in explaining some of the added exotic-to-me ingredients in their concoctions but with all of those ingredients she seemed a little overwhelmed as she was handling the whole place herself and it seemed very few tables were drinking beer. The clientele seemed like a bunch of friendly of people, tourists and locals, young and older and everyone seemed to be having a good time. It has big doors that push back so it is wide open on each side - great when there's a breeze and to watch people walk to or from the beach across A1A. They have high tops, booths and tables and a few tables out doors. A giant big screen TV flanked by some smaller ones with (thank goodness) something else besides sports on it. They also had a great girl trumpet player -singer, which was not too loud and very entertaining. All in all I would highly recommend this place and I look forward to going back and trying some more of their dishes.
This place is unreal. The drinks the food the vibes ?! I can’t believe I’m just now discovering this place. I came in for the truffle fries and curry chicken dip but got the steak and omg. This beats most steakhouses I’ve been to. I will visit this gem often. If you reading this review save yourself the time and just go. Drink the smoked oaxaca.
Very friendly bar staff, excellent service and lovely drinks. A lovely cultured and vibrant atmosphere with good music. A vibey bar that could easily belong in a trendy part of London. All of the staff were great, but the tall lad there gave excellent service and made us feel very welcome!Would definitely recommend for some casual drinks!
Had the absolute pleasure of stopping through this establishment tonight. Between the exceptional service, amazingly delightful menu options and the stellar drink presentations... It's a toss up. And did I mention the owner's musical tastes are exactly the soulful vibe this world needs more of? This is actually my 3rd time here and first time meeting the owner. Needless to say... I will frequent this restaurant every time I'm in the area. The vibe is super chill and the atmosphere is immeasurably relaxed. Love this spot!
This place is awesome! It's beautiful, the staff is friendly and now lemme talk about the food! Everything we had was really well done. Fresh, creative, flavorful, unique. No frozen Costco foods here! Everything was wonderful, really. Finding good food near the ocean is tough, but look no further.
What a hidden gem! Excellent atmosphere, amazing service and even better food! Particularly loved the Hot Honey chicken sandwich and the caramelized sliders. Waitresses are super knowledgeable about the food and so helpful and friendly. A must try for locals and tourists alike - we live next door and will def be back again
I’m so happy that I chose to dine at this restaurant after work with friends. In my google search for a restaurant that had happy hour, I stumbled on this restaurant. I was a bit skeptic because there was not a lot of reviews, however those that were available were all positive. Anyhow, the food was amazing, not to mention the drinks. A definite hats off to the hardworking owner Drew and his staff. The restaurant is fairly new, but is so worth the wait and visit. All I have to say is finger licking good ?. Will definitely be coming back!!!
This is the second time I have been to Twice Removed and it was just as good (if not better) as my first visit. They have an amazing happy hour from 4-7pm. The drinks and bites are wonderful. So good that I forgot to take pics of the food as they did not last long on our table. My favorite is the grilled wedge salad and spinach dip. I did take a photo of the pink panther cocktail which is as pretty as it tastes but there is a full menu of drink options too. The space is open air, breezy, clean, and quaint. A very hip spot with modern design. Best of all the service is superb and the owner is very welcoming and a true professional. You can see him running around, taking orders, making drinks, bussing tables, checking in on all guests. Doing whatever is needed and always with a smile on his face.
Omg loved the menu I ordered the Pernil; delicious! I even ate the vegetables (don’t know if I was hungry or if it was good). ?But definitely recommend this place, good ambient, location, looks fantastic. The waitresses are very friendly as well!
