This place just hires the rudest people. I just came out of there after ordering online. Two girls are in the kitchen, hardly acknowledge me. When they finally do it's stoic. They got my order wrong and I asked to show my app. No recognition, worst attitude.Way too early in the day for that kind of demeanor.
My boyfriend and I ordered our usual island green smoothie. When it arrived 2 minutes after ordering, I knew it was going to be problems. The young blonde cashier had an disgusting attitude while taking our order and she also was the one making the drinks so I knew it was going to be issues. My boyfriend didn’t like his drink but didn’t feel like having more issues. Me on the other hand wasnt feeling like drinking a water with chunks of smoothie. There was absolutely no taste or balance. She rudely offered to put more bananas in it instead of re making it. LOL. It took 3x to remake bc she chose not to remake it from scratch, it was better to just keep adding to a smoothie that nobody wants. Then processed to yell at me saying “this is how the island green taste and if you don’t like it don’t get that one” ridiculous. I DO NOT recommend this location at all especially if you are a returning customer. This location will make you never want to deal with tropical smoothie again.
The staff at 1851 Cordova rd Fort Lauderdale, FL are beyond rude. My quesadilla was burnt and they gave me attitude because I didn’t want a burnt meal. I asked for a refund because after their horrible customer service I didn’t want them to make another meal. They did not want to issue me a refund. They said the manager wasn’t present to complete refund. As I repeatedly asked for the manager name they refused to share it with me. While I am talking to them they completely turn their back to me as if no one was talking to them and the cashier proceeded to take someone behind me while I am standing right in front of her .Very rude, I have never been treated like this at a fast food restaurant. I still haven’t received a refund for my order. I left the entire order on the counter and no one has returned my money yet !!!
The staff and service at this location does a huge injustice to the quality of the food. I placed a delivery order online and when I received it, it was all wrong. I tried calling the store to fix the matter but after trying for what seemed like forever with no answer, I decided to go down to the store. Very unhappy at this point as I'm expecting to roll up to a line that goes out the door. However, when I get there, there's not a single customer in sight and half the lights were turned off. The two ladies behind the counter seemed bored but certainly able to answer the phone. I finally got my order corrected and left. I love Tropical Smoothie but I won't be returning to this location.
Ordered delivery online. Received the wrong item so I called the store. I tried to get through for over half hour. No answer. Hangry, I decide to go down to the store, expecting to pull up to a line of customers. Nope. The store was completely empty except for the two employees behind the counter. Considering that the lights were off and they didn't pick up when i called, I'm pretty sure these ladies were hoping to have a quiet shift by making believe they were closed. I explain what happened and the one who actually looked like the manager takes the wrong item and instructs the other lady to make my salad. No apology, nothing. Very unpleasant. I will not be returning to this place.
The staff here really ruin the experience. You walk in the door and the lights are off. It's quiet, hot & unwelcoming. The employees take an awkward amount of time to acknowledge you even when you're the only customer in the store. And when they do acknowledge you it's by staring at you until you start talking and saying what you need. I've been waiting in line before and see them toss someone's order on the mini fridge. Another time I was standing waiting at the counter for my food and the cook holds it in one hand and then proceeds to clean the counters and put away food and items with her other hand.... every time I ordered the same food it was made differently (little rice tons of beans; no sauce or tons of sauce). These experiences have happened about 10 times before I decided to stop coming here
Went to pick up an online order today and unfortunately my order was completely wrong when I got home. Usually I order from this location all the time with no issues but today I don't know what happened. I ordered a quesadilla and a chipotle chicken flatbread and for some reason, both orders once I checked at home were some chicken with pesto, cheese and tomato flatbread. Poorly made at that! I tried calling the store 5 times and it just rang with no answer. I am completely upset that for one, my order was incorrect but to not be able to answer the phone when there was absolutely no one in the store with one worker just sitting, is completely unacceptable. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT LOCATION.
Very unprofessional!! The manager Shawna has a nasty attitude and is very rude. Horrible experience not just visiting but working here for one day after her taking her anger out on me and telling me to leave in a very hostile way. She doesn’t deserve anything. Shes so nonchalant & unhumbled . She’s also very stuck up ! Don’t even think about working here ! She makes customers feel unwelcomed and she acts like everyone owes her something.
Door locked. Lights on. Black woman inside. Totally ignored my pounding on window. What a joke! Close it down permanently if you can’t be open during posted business hours!!!!
Tropical smoothie Cafe is always delicious, but unfortunately this location notoriously under blends the ice and it's always super crunchy. I once ordered 5 kiwi quenchers and they all had about 2 inches at the top that was empty space. I feel like at almost 7 bucks a smoothie, I need it filled up to the top and blended thoroughly. They're always very friendly here. I appreciate that!
