The service is incredible, and the food is fantastic. Always eat here with my friends and it's always great.

This was a place that I’ve dined several times before. I recommended it to several people friends and family. On May 26 2022 I made a 745pm reservation as I always do. Again this wasn’t my first visit. I’ve hosted a wedding party there in April 2018 with approximately 30 guest. But my last visit was a disaster I was seated promptly which was fine. As my server Katherine walked up is when it began without introducing herself. I ordered appetizers. After 20 minutes another server Tony bought them in. After waiting another 30 minutes Tony came back and asked what my order was. I explained what it was and after 10 minutes he returned with my dinner. By then I was upset. I then expressed my disgust to him which he replied “ Hey Dawg my partner is new but at least the food is hot”. First of all I’m nobody dawg. It really made me feel that I was neglected because of the color of my skin. On my way out I expressed my sentiments to the hostesses. Again this wasn’t my first visit and all previous visits were EXCELLENT. This last visit was by far the worst.
Went here for dinner was excellent! Prime rib was great. Definitely would recommend as we went twice during our vacation in the area!

I have to say that we went there on a Saturday night to experience this restaurant and it was very disappointing we were told that we could not eat from the bar we sat at the bar and did order and the food was very late and coming very disorganized very disappointing and there were a lot of people that seemed like they were from Century Village I do not recommend this.
We were super excited to try this place. The waiter was not excited to see in our shorts and t-shirts (not the only ones) he was not happy we didn't want 1/2 price bottles of wine. We order our meals and the French onion soup was amazing we were super happy Italian bread was average. Wife's steak was ok still needed A1. My filet kabobs were perfectly done but room temperature at best. The waiters helper was more helpful than him. We both got cream spinach. I make it better at home tasted like they put nutmeg in it. They didn't know. On way out the two people at the front desk (not busy) didn't even acknowledge us. Far cry from the friendliness that was the philosophy on their website. Food average service below glad I was full. Not worth the price better places around.
Last visited years ago because I moved out of the area but wait a great place to return to. Cecilia was our waitress and made our experience even better that we could hope for . The food is still great at Tropical Acreas , just like a remember it. Though I live in south Dade now with this visit we are surely going to return more often during the year . Thank you Tropical Acreas for still being a great place for a fantastic dinning experience.
Never get tired of this restaurant. This trip involved stone crabs, crab cakes, filet mignon and lobster tails. Was a bit disappointed in the lobster tails ... not their usual size. I think it was 4oz in the shell, it looked more like an ounce after cooking. I will not be ordering the lobster tails again :(
Absolutely one of the best steak restaurants I’ve been to in a while. The service was amazing and the food was even better. The price was absolutely perfect.
