One of the best places for lunch in Fort Lauderdale. Anything on the menu is well thought of and they range from their famous roast beef sandwiches, burgers, wings. Their cauliflower wings are on point though as well as the cauliflower burger.
Food coma.. someone at the whole foods down the way recommended this spot and it was bomb. Everything we ordered was delicious.Buffalo cauliflower Sando - fresh, crispy, and super filling. Probably the best one I’ve ever had.Tots - crispy and crunchy, not the soggy ones you get other places.Fried raspberry cheesecake with custard - ridiculous.Concrete - had an off the menu order with thin mints and marshmallows sauce, bomb.
This place is AMAZING ! My husband and I stopped in today after hearing raving reviews on the radio, web and locally about this place. We were happy we stopped. Upon walking in the establishment was super clean and welcoming with some good classic rock tunes playing. The staff was super friendly and made you feel like home. Vibe was nice. We both ordered a Beef & Cheddar and split some cheese tots. The price couldn’t be beat. IT WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD. The sandwich was packed full of tasty homemade roast beef and that cheese whiz, oh my goodness that cheese whiz. They gave us extra Round Sauce which really complimented everything. You can tell the food here is made fresh and packed with love. Make sure to try their Key Lime Pie shack as well. We left with super happy bellies and will definitely be back. What a great place !
Really tasty, I had the horse & hole roast beef sandwich and it was one of the top sandwiches I’ve had ever. Super tender roast beef and a good kick to it from the horse radish. Cheese curly fries were also yummy. Prices very reasonable. Staff is very friendly and the place is big and clean. I honestly can’t complain.
I ordered here for take out and got the pastrami burger and dirty fires. They were quick and gave great service. The burger had plenty of pastrami on it, very delicious. The dirty fries were amazing ! Similar to poutine, very tasty and savory. Definitely recommend this spot for a quick bite or good food.
I have been twice so far during weekday lunch hours and am quite pleased. There is a bit of a wait for the food (10-15 min), but I give them 5 stars because the sandwiches and chili cheese fries are WORTH IT! If you are in a hurry, suggest you order ahead online. Otherwise, go to the fast food place down the road, say hi to the drifters, get what you pay for, and save your complaints. No one is perfect, and we all have bad days, but Top Round is 2 for 2 for me so far. Prices are higher than typical fast food, but this is not fast food; this is more like a casual gourmet sandwich shop. Dining area is clean, comfortable, and cool mid-20th century decor. Restroom is clean (thank you for the access-control)! The only critique I might have is they appear to be short-staffed. I hope business picks up and the owners can hire more help. Looking forward to trying the frozen custard after Lent! ;)
Amazing food, incredibly friendly owners and one of the cleanest restaurants I’ve ever seen. Also if you remember an old school roast been place called Neba my mom kept raving about how similar it is. Also: birch beer!
We found Top Round when looking for a restaurant to eat at with our kids following a trip to the Museum of Discovery and Science. We had a chicken sandwich, burger, tots, sweet potato fries and grilled cheese. Everything we had was fresh and delicious. We especially enjoyed talking with the owner while we ate our meals. We finished up our meal with custard for the kids and a concrete for the adults. This was a great spot for kids as no one seemed to mind their noise and they had kid friendly options. I'd definitely recommend a trip here if in the area!
Absolutely with out a doubt the best Roast Beef sandwich you will have. Buttery soft and flavorful, soft fresh onion roll, delicious horseradish cream sauce. Will be back soon!
Best know for Roast Beef. The location was clean and the staff was helpful. The food was good and reasonably priced. I would recommend them to anyone.
