Use to be such a good Poke restaurant. Do yourself a favour and go to any one of the other 3 poke restaurants withint a 5 mile radius. Picking up your food in that stinky back alley with flies buzzing all around you get to wonder what on earth are you doing. I have no clue how this place is even open like this.
Writing this review as I sit on the toilet contemplating why I ordered Poke from a restaurant in the back alley of a shopping plaza. They aren’t seating customers so I had to order and wait for my food by the dumpsters behind the restaurants in the plaza, where I was greeted by multiple homeless people while waiting for my food. Pretty sure the dude who took my order was high too - I was charged for 4 bowls when I’d only ordered 3. Was given a partial refund after I realized it. Despite all the red flags, I decided to give this place a shot because of its great reviews - which also happens to be why I’m here trying to increase their accuracy. Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from this place as you can.
What a fantastic little place. Food is amazing. Atmosphere was really nice. Staff were brilliant. I would definitely recommend.
Hate to knock a business in start up mode but this place is not ready for consumers. The back alley where you are required to pick up your food stinks of hot trash (presumably not their fault). Opened the back door to collect our order and flies were buzzing in the kitchen. The person who answered said they had not received our order yet we had a confirmation number and a credit card charge. Was relieved to know we wouldn’t be risking contaminated food but couldn’t have been a more disappointing experience both visually and for our stomachs since the reviews are somewhat positive.
Okay I have not yet had the food but I wanted to update while I was here, they are now located behind where Google says they are. They're only open for takeout and delivery. Very helpful on the phone.
They are undergoing renovations now but cannot judge them by this. The food is delicious!! The poke with forbidden black rice shrimp salmon and vegetables is to die for.

I wasn't even greeted when I walked in, first red flag and then my order took longer than expected trying to pick items as the order taker was not exactly helpful. He got the order right but the Kimchi is not Kimchi it's there take on it and no flavor at all. Not going back.
This restaurant is really good! Always clean and food quality is good and fresh! My only complaint is that it is pricey and the amounts of food are small, also, you will have to pay extra even for a sauce.
I got the Venice Beach large portion.$15.95 reg 12.95And a cookie $3.50I did feel the large wasn’t really large.No speciality drinks available as in Asian poke drinks other cities have.They lack variety. I probably won’t be going back.
