This "off the tourist trail" dining spot is a gem. We were lucky a resident friend brought us here. Servers very friendly. Food was delicious.
A friend of the family we were visiting suggested this restaurant. She accompanied us to dinner. It's a small place, cozy, with indoor and outdoor seating. Clean. Good service. The food was excellent! Two of us ordered the chicken fried dinner, with mashed potatoes and asparagus with cheese crumbles. OMGoodness, that chicken was outstanding. The rest ordered ribs, and a burger. All was great! Definitely recommend!

My wife and I were on vacation and came in here for lunch. I thought the food was good. I’m not sure if this is the normal pace of the restaurant but it seem like it took a while to get our food. This isn’t the type of place I would come on a weekly basis but there are some nice dishes. It’s worth a try.

Our comfort food go-to place. Always fresh, varied, and flavorful lunch or dinner options. Depending on the time of day, we either frequent the restaurant or the pub...two locations. Indoor and outdoor seating.
We were pleasantly surprised by our recent visit to the Mason Jar. Service was terrific and the entrees decent. We had the pork chops and the grilled chicken Cesar wrap. Our food arrived on time and our server was very pleasant. We will return for sure!

Always have a good soup and fresh fish, but I gravitate to the chicken pot pie, or meat loaf. Order the Brussel sprouts as a side, they are wonderful, sautéd with pistachio nuts. French fries are super thin, obviously prepared in house. Prices are fair, and the staff really hustle. Make a reservation there are not that many tables, and although out of the way this is a popular spot for locals.
