It was alright. We got the beef platter and chicken platter. The food was alright. The white sauce was what makes it tasty. Careful with the hot sauce it's extremely hot.
Always been a big fan of the halal guys to the point of waiting online with a 25 degree ❄️ But today all my expectation where all gone what halal is all about food was the worst i ever had coming from this line of food growing up in nyc and knowing the way its supposed to be i can tell you the workers here are just waiting on the day to be done I really recommend for a original manager come visit the store and make sure people are following recipe or avoid a law suit. the meat was dry and tasted like refrigerator
First off, the guy working wouldn't even get up to take my order untill the guy cleaning told him to get up. I've gotten the lamb gyro platter twice now. I've eaten here twice. The food has made me sick twice. Disgusting. Do yourself a favor and don't eat here at the " halal" place. I would like a refund.
VERY VERY UPSET AND DISAPPOINTED ???????????I am a big fan of The Halal Guys but this place left me with a Bad Experience.Store closes at 10pm... I was not late to regret it was 8.30pm... and they had no rice available.. they were packing left over those hard plastic kind burnt rice which is left or stuck in overheated trays.... For God Sake they did not had the shame to pack and deliver to other customer's those rice..: That's BADI pity for the person who must have received the chicken over rice bowl with those hard plastic kind left over rice that was stuck on it..That's a Bad customer service.. Need to have fresh stock available to serve... or arleast the courtesy to hang a sign board outside or at the counter that they are out of stock / till stock last..I suggest they should even update on Google to let others know the time they are out of stock so people who are starving should not waste their time and energy driving all the way up here??????????????
Came to pick up dinner on a Wednesday after work. From the minute I walked in the door the guys working there were super attentive. Service was friendly and fast. Food was fresh and tasty - I had a large platter with beef and chicken. Apple Pay was down at the moment, but there were signs posted advising customers of this. Would definitely recommend.
I have been here a total of three times. Did mgmt change.1st time it was good. I had a bowl.2nd time - I returned. Ordered the gyro with chicken sandwich. Oh my gosh! The chicken was awful. Not real. Not fresh. Not good. Bad appearance.Thought it was a bad day. Tried it again - asked to see the chicken - nope not a bad day.I didn't order the chicken because it looked dry and old so I ordered the gyro meat. It was awful. That's not lamb thats not beef - it's not good at all.I didn't finish it after one bite. I tossed it in trash and went to Blaze (next door).What's wrong with you guys serving food like this?!And don't respond back with anything unless you are going to actually change by having some pride, fire the cook /fire the manager.Don't recommend. Won't be back.
Halal guys... Yeah right ! This place so bad horrible service, such a pity, the food is okay, I mean okay, they can't serve it, the go in the counter is just like doesn't want to be there if you don't want to work somewhere just until it because people come in here expecting at least a little bit tiny appreciation or notice you're a new nice place and for you to have such a rude manner, man I'm like I'm hopeful that next time I return the people are just a little bit nicer because I leave them a tip, in second thought, no I won't return, I know there is a smaller mom and pop gyro a little bit more a expensive down the road, and they actually pretty nice and know how to put a gyro, together, the lady, she was nice, and very attentive and the cook as well, but wow, can't you give your people a little bit more training? Is okay, this is the last time I come around here. I see the door.
Being prejudicial is wrong, but gut feelings are visceral. Go with your gut. When pitas are wrapped in aluminum foil for constant heating and everything else hot comes off a steam table, fresh and flavorful are not likely in the cards for you. Sonit was at Halal Guys on Andrew's. The "white" sauce is tasteless and the hot sauce tastes like diluted capsicum oleoresin (the chemical that makes peppers spicy). Do yourself a favor find a hole-in-the-wall gyro joint or Middle Eastern restaurant and eat like a king (or queen). Two stars because the place looked clean.
The lady at the cash counter has been very rude.She is not letting me add punch points in the cash counter monitor screen when she gives out a receipt.She asks me to add punch points thru mobile app but I can't add punch points thru the app. I have all my profile details added in my mobile app and the app still does not let me add the punch points.I don't understand lets say even if my app is working, why can I not add punch points thru their check out counter screen. There was only one person waiting behind me in the line and I was not delaying the line as well.
In my Halal quest, I have found THE PERFECT FORMULA. This Food and drink go together better than “White on Rice”
