Everything was excellent. Sashimi was FRESH and nice large pieces! Some of the best I’ve had in the area! Fried rice was ?! Will order again, THANK YOU!
Phenomenal food, an incredible experience, and exceptional service. I was never really a fan of sushi, but I heard great things and a lot of people told me to check out Sushi Maki while I was in town. I gave it another try here and I'm glad I did--their dragon roll has completely changed my world.It's also super convenient to order online and schedule your pickup time. Will definitely be scheduling a meal at Sushi Maki next time I'm in the area.
Our food was kind of disappointing. Spending $40 for a light weekday lunch for 2, we expected something that was a little better quality. But what really concerned us was how dirty the place was. Our table was dirty, chair was sticky, serving plates and soy sauce bowls were all dirty. We asked the server for clean plates and bowls, he came back a few minutes later with a new set of plates that were even worse -- there was food or something encrusted on several of them. When we pointed it out to the server, he exclaimed that they were clean, because "they just came out of the dish washer". Even pointing the clearly visible filth, he didn't seem to care and walked away. We had to get up ourselves and take some plates & bowls from an unoccupied table. I realize that it's currently very difficult to hire competent staff for a restaurant on Las Olas, but for goodness sakes, could you at least train them to identify clean vs dirty??? Cutting corners when it comes to sanitation and the health of your customers is just shamefully wrong! Clean up your act before you make someone sick.
SPICY TUNA GAVE ME FOOD POISONING!!!!!I ordered three rolls, two of which were fine, but the spicy tuna tasted very weird and off and after a few pieces I had to run to the bathroom. I am not coming back here.
Love the sushi here but the fried rice…OMG the fried rice. Everything here was awesome. And the service was quite nice too.
my food didn’t come as advertised and it something that’s a pet peeve. Where’s my salad? I ordered basically for the salad!Plus I tipped $5 to be nice. I can’t go back. I’m upset I spent $20 on meat and rice basically. I live with a picky person and my lunch time is when I eat what I want no compromising
Amazing staff, great food everything was perfect and I was treated like family, would definitely suggest to come here if you feel like eating real Japanese style food 10/10 I'll be coming back real soon.
Really good sushi in a quick casual atmosphere at reasonable prices and good portions. A lot of creative rolls and non-sushi choices as well. Worth the walk a couple more blocks down Las Olas. Big shout out to Alex who helped both times I've been there!
