We ordered take out from Southport and the food was really good. We had a party of 10 and ordered a variety of food and there wasn't a single complaint about the food.

I had a really amazing experience with my recent visit to Southport Raw Bar. Our server was Ivana. Despite how crazy busy she was, she managed to keep our drinks flowing, and our food came out promptly. I couldn't believe how she managed to get our food out piping hot and fresh despite how busy it was. She did all this with a smile. I really appreciate this. I felt like a VIP local. If you are visiting FT Lauderdale, spend some time at Southport Raw Bar. You won't regret it!

First off I consider this an icon place to eat in Fort Lauderdale. You will see anyone here from the best dressed to the guy in a tank top, shorts and flip flops.i started off with some conch fritters, and a dozen steamed oysters and an ice cold corona.both appetizers were excellent. Then I decided to get some crab legs. I don't know I was just feeling it. My server Katie was spot on with the service and was friendly and helpful.the bar was packed as was the waterfront deck so I sat inside and had a great meal.great place to come and grab lunch, dinner or just a round of beers.

Been coming since 1979. Always a great spot. Now breakfast. Love this place.Great friend's.. Had eggs Benedict with sausage. Georgia ice cream too. Excellent ???.

My 1st time here I went on a Wednesday around 1230pm. The view outside was nice. The food was ok but I also only ordered appetizers. The conch balls were not good, I also tried the conch chowder wasn’t a fan of it but it wasn’t bad, but the grilled oysters were great and also the garlic bread. I definitely will be giving this place another try only because I do want to try some other things on the menu.

This was my first time here I came for lunch on a Wednesday. Place was pretty packed considering the time and day of the week. You seat yourself which is fine. Place is very welcoming. Server was mediocre but nice and recommended which oysters she liked best and they were really really good. Only had drinks and appetizers so rating could possibly be better had I ordered an entree. I'll most definitely return so expect an updated rating soon. The drinks came out fast and were good. The conch chowder also came right out. It was ok but not what I expected as far as being tomato based I imagined it to be like clam chowder but with conch instead. I would recommend renaming this conch soup instead of conch chowder because that's what it gave me. The garlic bread was excellent not sure what the Bimini bread was (and wasn't really given an overview being it was my first visit) but I will try when I return. The conch fritters were ok and the grilled oysters were superb! Drinks were great. One coming in a plastic cup and the other in a nice glass kinda explains the place overall (homie but nice) if that makes sense. Patio view is great if you can get a seat out there. Boats come in and out and vibe is very relaxing. I would recommend servers asking customers if it's their first time and kind of giving an overview. I think they had specials on the board I glanced at leaving but I wasn't told anything. I will definitely return to try more menu items and get the night or weekend vibe.

No dress up needed , great service good food and drink . Love this place. In a previous life many years ago I would stop in here for a beer and perhaps lunch, my recent return showed me the same great place.

Very good. Locals spot. Food and service good. Old bay shrimp, fish tacos and fish and chips were very good. Clam strips not so much. They appear to be frozen bag product. Great atmosphere friendly staff

Great casual vibe ... On the water view..oysters..raw & grilled.. G R E A T. .. CLAM PASTA was good but not great.. stick with apps and sandwiches you will not be wrong

large group of 9 split between 2 tables. place was hopping and we sat on the outside deck with live music overlooking the intercoastal. Our server was outstanding and alot of fun. Everyone had mahi or steamed mussels. plenty of apps and seemed like alot of locals. Not on the A1A strip which made it the lowest price meal of the week, but not sacrificing quality.
