We had a party at six go this past Thursday for my stepson‘s high school graduation. The CEO happened to be there and saw the graduation balloons and paid for all of our food and drinks! He was so nice and friendly and came over and introduced himself to everyone at the table. The food was delicious as always. We love their meats! Thank you so much for our dinner it was greatly appreciated!
This is a meal that looks better than it tastes. Grossly overpriced for such C-grade food. I ordered 1/3 baby back ribs and chicken wings with bbq sauce. The ribs were more fat than meat, the wings were dry. For sides I ordered mac and cheese (terrible; just a bowl of spiral noodles with maybe two cubes of cheese that gave a few noodles cheese and the rest just cold and dry noodles), coleslaw (it was Ok), mashed potatoes with gravy (it was Ok), baked beans (it was Ok), and banana puddling (terrible; all custard and many 3 pieces of bananas). That meal was $75 via uber eats. NOT WORTH IT. Not worth $15! I couldn't finish any of the items. What a waste.
Last night, (May 11, 2022 @ 11:28P) it happened again. I arrived at Smokey Bones, Ft Lauderdale after a looong day (14 hours) on my restaurant to have a quick bite before heading home, and I was told by an employee that they closed at 11:30P. This rest chain markets its schedule until 2A, Google says 1A, but the employees close it at 11:30P. Their food is good, that is why I keep going back (read that kept), I am not here to utilize reviews to destroy a restaurant. I have a very successful one, it is no secret how hard it is to run a restaurant on a daily basis, the pandemic just made the whole game harder. Employees get tired, duh, or they just plainly want to hit the road sooner. But not at the expense of clients, and a false schedule that they don’t respect. Pretty sure Corporate does not know this. Especially if the manager is more condescending with his/her staff that he/she should. Four times is more than enough. Different days. With and without guests. Same result, “sorry, we are closed” Again, their options are good. But the 1 star rating comes from the customer service these employees don’t understand. My restaurant has 4.8 ratings and customers praise 3 things, food, drinks AND the staff. We are proud of all of them. Some humans have different working hours beyond 9-5. We just want to relax a bit after hard days at work. Which these employees don’t seem to get it. Yep, I ended up at Denny’s.
I am not a big fan of barbecue and this place make worse.Very big restaurant, good service but food isnt.
Ribs donuts is a must baked beans don’t leave without tasting gotta be the best beans to me
a must go when in the area! the food is incredibly succulent. we ordered the bone grill which has everything: chicken wings, ribs, potato wedges, sausage, steaks, chicken filets, and pepers. literally finger liking good. to complement we added a green salad and baked potato. price is reasonable. the fresh bake donut are really good
Dinner was nice. Their chili was excellent. The waitress was a little under attentive, but she had a lot of tables and they were very busy. Menu prices were reasonable. All in all It was what your would expect from this chain.
Easy parking, nice greeting and great service. The cocktails were well made and the dinner was great. Nice atmosphere.
I had for the first time tonight. It's hard to find good BBQ & Ribs in Florida. I'm from NC just not the same. I ordered with low expectations, but damn it was good. The ribs where perfect wasn't over sauced. And the pulled pork the same. I'd definitely recommend ?
I had to grab some bones here. I had the baby backs with spiced apples and vegetables. I like to try a different sauce with each bone to decide which flavor is the day's winner. Somehow it was a draw. You can't go wrong with either.
