We have gone here many times and the food was always fairly good. However, in our recent trip the prices have gone up considerably, one entrée we liked went from $22 to $32, that is a big increase. I had blackened shrimp and the shrimp was so small and the portion was much smaller than I had previously. We may try again for lunch, but dinner is a bit pricey for the portions and the place.

If you are looking for something different then this is the place to go. Cajun food at its best. Unfortunately I chose the blackened Mahi Mahi which lasted flavour Next timer I will choose something more New Orleans

Shuck N Dive is a taste of New Orleans in East Fort Lauderdale on the outskirts of downtown. Set back in a shopping plaza, it’s easy to miss but if you’ve never been you’re missing out!The blackened skirt steak was seasoned just right and cooked to melt-in-your-mouth perfection, paired with a side of tots and Mac just to make sure I hit my fat and sodium macros for the day.We also got the Cajun chicken Cobb to get the greens in - the portions were generous and homemade Cajun vinaigrette was a delicious, light and tangy accompaniment.Great drink menu too with plenty of frozen options and of course, Abita beers. Friendly staff, great service and fair prices to boot.5/5 stars for Shuck N Dive.

Fantastic louisiana style restaurant. We definately got our fix for a true cajun boil and oysters. We got there just in time to get $1.00 oysters (on wednesdays) and there was a special on crawfish 3lbs for $30. The garlic crab claws were like a cajun lollipop so good! Best selection of abita beers out fav is the strawberry beer. The staff was very friendly and helpful making sure to always check on us and make sure we had eberything we needed. We be back over and over again!

Best chicken sandwich and fried chicken ever!! Best corn chowder with blackened shrimp. They serve it one day a week. awesome. I brought some home! Love the owners and staff. Great service and fun atmosphere. Super authentic cajun food!

My wife is a New Orleans native and know what good food is. This restaurant rival anything found in NO. Excellent seafood gumbo and the shrimp and oyster poor boys were outstanding.

I've have eatn at shuck & dive 10-15 times..always yum!!! New Orleans food themed. Try frozen hurricane with rum floater.make sure u look at SPECIALS BOARD..Always something yummy there.

The real deal! The service is a team experience. I was searching for a new place to have my traditional Black Eyed Peas for New Years Day. I had some over rice ? with some crispy fried chicken ? and collard greens!

Good fiod but a little light on the choices if dishes being offered and the portion sizes on the main dishes fir dinner are not that great. Taste of food and service is fantastic. Ambiance is great. Definately a visit...their gator dish is the best...and the fried green tomatoes is to die for...best ever.

My friend and I had the pleasure of “trying out some food!” We opted out of brunch and since I know how much she loves creole food, I said let’s check this place out!Upon entering, we were immediately greeted and seated (great combo, huh??! ?) My friend was overwhelmed by the menu! She wanted to order everything! So Emma, the server, who was AWESOME comes over and my friend first orders gumbo… it comes out- she said it was sooo delish! After that, we place our order- with Chris, who was awesome too- she gets a combo with different fried seafoods and fries. I get what- my usual- the only thing I will eat - MS raised catfish with macaroni & tots!!!SO LET ME BE CLEAR- ? “this rating is SOLEY based on service!”Food comes out, I taste catfish- immediately it’s a NO! I didn’t like it. It didn’t taste good and the macaroni- NO! The tots- THE BOMB!! She said the shrimp was good, the fries were good, her fish was not and she doesn’t eat oysters (they came with). She said the crab legs tasted refried! Chris came over and told me that I should really get something else. I hate being “that person” but he told me other options I could get. So I decided on the chicken strips! They came out fresh and I actually liked them- wish I had ordered them in the beginning! I also had the Rum Runner- it was pretty good!Overall- the service was SUPERB and I kept raving to my friend about it! Sooo… I was not expecting but when I got the ticket, it was only for my drink- I’m like- no need not to charge me!! Chris, Emma, Cheryl and Pam were all awesome!! I will be back to get those to-go drinks I noticed as I walked out!
