My favorite sushi spot in Florida ❤️ I will always remember Satsuki and Satori. The new owners are also very kind and the food has remained the same. They know how to make their rice. Also, they have the best sake selection. If you’re into Japanese cooking, this place is perfect for ingredients.
Adorable Japanese market with sushi take out in the back. It’s a very small spot but they have all the basics including Japanese snacks, sake, soft drinks, and refrigerated desserts. They even have natto! There’s also a small end cap with books and incense. It’s a surprisingly varied selection of Japanese conscience store and grocery items considering how small the shop is. The sushi is currently take-out only but it’s tasty.
Tiny, dark and dingy. Lack of variety and everything is over priced. The staff (cashier lady) was NOT personable and just plain awkward. The place gives an unwelcoming vibe and atmosphere. Very disappointed... There was nothing special about this place and will probably not go back as it was not worth the drive.
Super secret best and freshest sushi in Fort Lah Dee Dah...if not Broward! Hands down!! Takeout only, but that's OK! Tons of Japanese snacks and ingredients for home chefs!????
I like the sushi here, specifically the salmon roll and the eel roll are very tasty. Good for the price. I wish they didn't use that pink dyed ginger, and just used regular, but that's okay. Also nice Japanese snacks and drinks.
Ordered 3 rolls: Arugala, Spider and Futomaki. All 100% delicious and distinct in flavor and texture. I used to make sushi rice every single day and this place has just the right balanceEverything is plated beautifully and the attention to detail is impeccable.Even the eel sauce had depth beyond the ordinary. Very very good value and a hidden gem! I've traveled and tasted extensively and between taste and cost this is easily top 3 for me.
Amazing sushi especially for the price. A limited but good assortment of dishes are available, but their sushi prices are impossible to beat (especially in soFlo). Skip Heart Rock and come here! To go setting in a small Japanese grocery store, take it to the park or to the beach for a fun date! I like getting odds and ends for my pantry that are more difficult to find here while I wait for my food. Support this local business.
Perfect place to get Japanese cooking ingredients, gifts, snacks and good sushi.
Absolutely the best market in town and the best sushi ever!
Really cute Japanese shop that I believe is family owned. I saw a bunch of Japanese food and household items here that I saw in Japan. Really made me feel like I was in Japan again. You can also order sushi to go -- I was watching the gentlemen prepare ours and I was very impress with his work. The sushi is reasonably priced and tastes delicious. Highly recommend this gem and wished we had more places like this! Will be back!
