About a block and a half north of busy Las Olas boulevard, this small modern Italian restaurant is definitely a very good choice for fresh pasta, gnocchi, wraps, and salads. We had a little bit of a situation when we walked in at 6pm without a reservation. The place only had two other people eating but I guess we threw them for a loop. Even though their website says nothing about a reservation, I would strongly recommend having one just in case. The place is small and maybe that’s why they got flustered when we showed up without a reservation. We actually almost walked out because we didn’t understand what the big deal was. We were sat and our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. As an appetizer we ordered a bruschetta with blue cheese. It was delicious! With prosciutto and walnuts and Gorgonzola cheese. The lasagna is what they are known for so we tried that and the spaghetti carbonara. Everything was fresh and what I was most impressed with was that every single bite was tasty. The pasta was al dente, the ragu on the lasagna was yummy. We are coming back to try their pizza and other items but this time, we will make a reservation. There is no need to make the staff or the guests uncomfortable.

Great bolengese, great caprese, great Panna cotta

Ate at Sapido last night. Cute restaurant, great service. My husband had spaghetti with clams which was amazing especially the fresh pasta. I had the best lasagna ever (pictured)! And I make lasagna and my husband frequently makes fresh pasta. That lasagna will haunt me! Don’t miss this place!!

5 Stars all the way, every time our family goes to Sapido we love it more and more. Last night after a long day at work my wife and daughter stopped by to pick me up some pasta and fortunately the Chef suggested their famous Lasagne. I was as pleased as I have always been with their cucina. Thank you Chef and thank you Sapido. See you soon!

Great service & excellent food! At peak times, suggest calling for reservation before going. Definitely worth trying! Was our visit time there, will surely go back again!

Such a cute hidden gem. The inside is cozy but I like the vibe. The food was reallllly delicious, all the dishes we got were good. My favorite was the ravioli, I definitely want to come back and try the pizza and the other pasta dishes. For more of my recommendations follow me on insta @kristythefloridafoodie

Had a wonderful birthday dinner tonight with my coworkers at Sapido. The staff was very accommodating setting up outside seating for us on just 5 days’ notice, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. I will definitely be back!

We had a reservation for a party of three. When we arrived they informed us that we could only have our table for one hour because they had overbooked the restaurant. But they did offer that we could sit out in the rain at a table for however long as we wanted. We live one block from Sapido but I will not give them my business anymore because this was absolutely incorrigible and they were absolutely non-apologetic
