Update: We went back and really enjoyed ourselves and the food was wonderful. Would definitely go again. You can taste the love in the food. Original: (edited down) wasn't open during a day it was supposed to and the be right back clock was changed to different times, totally understand small family businesses have things to do. And family comes first. Regardless we wish them luck and will try another time.
I avoid Italian restaurants as much as possible but because it was a local spot with amazing reviews we decided to stop by for a treat. Roberta’s cooking was authentic, marinara sauce to die for, fresh ingredients in insalata. My daughter said the food wasn’t good, it was great! Shes only 6 and a very tough critic. She ordered spaghetti with meat balls and I had a salad and gnocchi. One thing to note- no more pizza after 4pm. Thank you Roberta for taking us back to Italy.
This small but charming Italian eatery is wonderful. Roberta, herself, greets you, explains the menu, and serves the the delicious food. Her husband is the cook and makes everything from the excellent bread to the mouth watering deserts. So pleased to have found this one of kind restaurant in our neighborhood!
This restaurant is located on the back side of the numerous shops and restaurants that face Galt Ocean Drive & A1A. It's small but has in and outdoor seating. Roberta is from Genoa and acts as hostess, server and barista while her husband runs the home style kitchen. Pizza & sandwiches are served until 4:00 PM when a comprehensive dinner menu featuring Pasta, Antipasti, Meats, Fish and in house made desserts is offered. Daily specials are posted on a chalkboard which featured rack of lamb the night we visited. Bring your own bottle of wine as none is available. There is no corkage charge. The food is basic, homestyle and prepared with pride in house. Expect to hear many of the patrons conversing in Italian. Roberta is very personable, anxious to please and a joy. Prices are moderate by today's standard. Portions are adequate with enough to take home. There is adequate parking. A real good find!
Best in town! Get the lamb chops!!!! Do not miss. Torta de Nonna was so delicious.
Oh my goodness!! This place is excellent and exactly what I was looking for!! I’m from out of town and was craving some Italian food. The prices were fair and food was absolutely delicious; very tasteful. To add to the experience our server (Roberta!!!!) was so sweet it was like she could read my mind and brought items to our table without having to ask. Highly recommend!! Find out for yourself and see how amazing!
This is the most delicious Italian restaurant I’ve ever tasted in North America. If you close you’re eyes, you would think you were back in Italy. The food is so authentic I compare it just like Italy.100% recommend. Not only is the food delicious but it’s so affordable.
A lovely little place run by a very nice lady that make tasty Italian food and prices are very reasonable. No liquor license but you can BYOB.
Disappointed. :4.8 stars I expected very delicious but the red sauce was like any red sauce at a mom and pop Italian restaurant. Nothing special here.
Delicious! Absolutely awesome. Stopped back on the way from the Fairchild Botanical Garden to Pompano beach- this was one of the best dinners of our vacation. Spaghetti Vongole and Alfredo with Chicken, as well as Bruschetta! Wowza. Roberta serves it all to you and zips around the place, she's great at keeping tabs and was very good at checking in with our table. Her bread is hot and freshly baked and melts in your mouth. Stop here, thank me later!
