The staff at reception is very friendly and you immediately feel very welcome. The room was large and clean and the beds are very comfortable. The location of the hotel is perfect, right on Las Olas Boulevard. We would like to come again!
We stayed here just one night before a cruise, but I wished we could have stayed longer. We ate 3 meals here, and never left the hotel... not that we didn't want to, abut because of a few physical issues elected to. We ate one meal in each of the 3 restaurants, all excellent. The room was spacious and comfortable, we had a balcony room which was great as we could lounge outside with a glass of wine after dark and enjoy the lights of the street. I could see that the boulevard would be a great place for strolling and was sorry I couldn't take advantage of that.
Beautiful, clean hotel! Took the boat tour that leaves and returns right from the hotel and had a delicious dinner on the water at the Boathouse after a swim in the refreshing pool. Perfect Pre-Cruise day!
We stopped at this hotel for 5 days before we boarded our Cruise ship, and also for a day when we finished our cruise before we went to the Airport. Upon arrival we asked for an upgrade which we got to an amazing room overlooking the river with a balcony. Room was spotless and big, bed so comfortable and lovely bathroom. Staff extremely helpful and looked after you. Food in the restaurant was excellent also and we ended up eating here a lot despite there being lots of Restaurants on Las Olas Blvd, we liked it here best - food was lovely, and the restaurant staff were excellent. Swimming pool and another bar across the road at the back which was also nice for lunch and snacks around the pool. Also a restaurant there which is separate from the hotel restaurant. Staff here could do with a little more training as the Manager was very rude at one point to us when we complained about one of her staff, but apart from this slight blip, the hotel itself is wonderful. Hats off to Jerry on concierge who looked after our luggage, and took care of anything we needed. Top guy and super friendly. Hotel is situated in an excellent area and everything is within walking distance We would definitely stay at this hotel again
Fantastic hotel with nice selection of restaurants and a state of the art fitness center #fitness district Spacious rooms, views from the tower on the canals. Would recommend. The boathouse restaurant also good value
I have to admit that I am not one for writing reviews, but I read them all the time and make travel decisions largely based on reviews. But, I wanted to write one for this hotel, simply because they deserve it. We recently stayed at the Riverside Hotel in early May 2022. This was not my first time. I like this hotel so much, that I specifically chose it again when I came back to Ft. Lauderdale with my husband, even though rate was a bit higher than like hotels in the area. I also chose this hotel because the daily parking rate is very reasonable, we have been able to check in earlier than the standard check-in time, the customer service is GREAT, and you cannot beat the location! Not sure about the other reviews, but I have found Angelica and the rest of the hotel staff to be very pleasant and flexible with our every request. I recommended this hotel to my girlfriend and her Mother who stayed around Christmas 2021 and they raved about it as well. It's not often you find one hotel that is inviting enough to accommodate every type of traveler like couples, girlfriends, parents, young and old, etc. Pay a little extra, the Riverside is worth it!
Excellent place to stay, eat and drink (happy hour is great). Alicia at front desk her and Kaneshia got us in early and late checkout to accommodate our flight. I give this hotel a 10. Ladie in gift shop is a gem also.
My boyfriend and I had the most amazing stay here. The hotel is charming, with gorgeous decor and a warm atmosphere. The location could not be beaten. I think it was worth spending a bit more to be on Los Olas Blvd and be able to walk to all the fun restaurants and shops. And the pool! I loved the pool. It was along the canal and was very peaceful and beautiful.
location excellent for walks restaurants going to beach boatrides lori and angelica were angels and helped us with everything debbie in golden lyon pub was awesome everyone was friendly and helpful cant wait to come back in november fabulous staff!! chris and jerry
The rooms are comfortable, clean & have a small refrigerator & plenty of towels available. The proximity to all the shops, restaurants & bars was right out the front door. Out the back door is the walk way to the boat house or the salt seven ( great happy hour & food) not to mention great boat viewing & people watching ! Being so close to the water taxi stops is a must & great conveince. This is my hotel of choice when I visit Ft. lauderdale.3 negatives: cost of water in the room ( it should be free). Need to pay for parking & be careful or you will get a $20 a day ticket if your not parked in the designated areas, & the $50 a day charge for incidentals I am waiting to be removed from my CC
