Hipster and yuppie venue with overpriced drinks who don't care about their clientele. This is the first time in over 30 years of going to see music events in which I've seen a venue advertised doors 9 and 1/2 hours before the performer went on with no opening acts whatsoever. And then to top it off nowhere was it advertised that this event wasn't actually a performance but just a DJ set. They got me at a group of five in the door once but never again. Some transparency May enable people to keep coming back if they like to buy expensive drinks but I know at least a few other parties that were wildly unhappy good night I attended. This is the very reason that venues don't last long
Depending upon the day and time, Rhythm and Vine has a different clientele. There are two large outdoor areas and a fairly large inside area. One of the exterior areas has picnic tables and food trucks. The other exterior area has patio furniture and a bar and food tables. The indoor space has a bar and living room furniture. Early in the evening, Rhythm and Vine has mostly Gen X and Gen Y with some baby boomers. After 11:00 p.m., the interior area has mostly club scene young adults. It seems there is no kitchen, instead, the food is provided by a couple food trucks. One of the food trucks specialized in Jamaican food. We ordered one of the Jamaican hamburgers. It was a large cheeseburger with Jamaican spices. It was full of taste with layers of flavor. As I was ordering the cheeseburger, there were a few customers that complimented the cook preparing the hamburgers. This was a good sign that the cheeseburger I ordered will be good. The cheeseburger was excellent. Rhythm and Vine is a fun place that can accommodate several age groups. It is a meeting and hangout place with friends. It seems Rhythm and Vine is a popular place. It is a hidden place that has very limited parking. There is on street parking in the neighborhood.
Very cool decor, great service & plenty games to keep you entertained. Service is great & a small food truck in case you get the nibbles
Rhythm and vine is such a hipster vibe!! It's pretty much the city of Austin in a back yard warehouse bar. Drinks are amazing and priced well. Outside yard is dope, smooth tunes and always a good food truck there
Cool vibes, great music...outdoor seating is my favorite but the inside is also amazing!
Really kitschy and cool cocktail bar. There's a beautiful outdoor spot with an airstream where they serve cocktails. They have lots of seating and big Jenga and connect 4 games. Inside, there's an air conditioned lounge with another bar.I got the Chapo cocktail which was fantastic. Thanks!
I would give this place 5 stars for all the vibes and ambiance alone. The drinks were nicely made, we played Jenga and ordered food from the food trucks . The food was okay not great but everything else in this place will make you come back
Great place to hang out in the afternoon and play some games. The ramen food truck was great too!
Interesting drinks, but completely unmanaged. The bar was a disaster. Nice bartenders, but they have no clue how to run a bar. Give it a pass. There are so many other better venues that are actually managed and the facilities maintained.
Great guest dj drinks are dope. Definitely grab the Cuban drink when you visit. Even get your groove on the dance floor. There's music for everyone.
