We chose to come to this restaurant because we saw it was pet friendly and we had wanted to bring our dogs with us because we had no choice to leave them in the car. The first moment we get to the restaurant, within the first minute, the host at the door was already being rude. We were being seated outside and asked where would be the best place with the best air conditioning because it was a hot day, with an irritated face she said, “i don’t know” and threw down the utensils onto the table. After looking at how she acted the whole time we were here, we assumed there might have been some racist feeling towards us as we were speaking Spanish towards each other and she was mean to us but everyone else she was smiling and conversing and came back to their tables to even ask how they were doing. The only other issue which was minor was that the tables and menus smelled a little weird like moldy ocean water or something of the such, but that’s acceptable since it’s right next to the beach. Everything else in the restaurant was fine. Our actual server was nice and did her job great and the food was amazing as well.
This place has been upgraded since my first visit a few years back.Friendly staff, good menu, and the most tender ribs i've eaten in a long while.
It started with the hostess, someone that appeared to be lifeless and couldn’t care if there were any customers at all in the restaurant, so she wouldn’t have to move. So useless! You’d ask her questions and she wouldn’t even answer. She would point to which table we would need to sit at. Later, I asked where the restroom was and she pointed in the direction of the restroom without even looking at my face. Then our waiter poured the bottle of wine I selected and only poured a half of an inch into my wife’s glass and would have filled up my wine glass to the rim had I not told him to stop. Definitely doesn’t know what he’s doing. Had no clue about the menu items. All he could say was that he never tried that entree but “nobody ever took home leftovers” Really? They screwed up my order of my steak and chicken fajitas, forgetting the chicken altogether. Was not impressed at all with the service. I think any fast food restaurant would provide a better experience than this place. I would strongly not recommend this place.
Another excellent dinner after a day on the water. Had the Dolphin on crab cake , outstanding but wow so rich. Sat at a high top by the bar so it was a lively atmosphere as well. One of the better casual places that excels in good food.
We arrived in Fort lauderdale late and need we d to find somewhere to eat. Could walk from our hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Club sandwich tasty. Music good Atmosphere good
The food was good. The menu seems to have a vast array of seafood, meat, veggies and even a few different ethnic styles of food. It was good for friends, couple, or families. Indoor or outdoor seating, and located near town hotspots. Only a block or so from the beach. The service was at times slow, but that wasn’t a big deal.
Miranda is a great server and made our time there that much better. The sushi selection in Dania Beach is better, but the rolls here are not bad at all. Excellent pours from the bar. Just steps from A1A on Las Olas so the location is excellent.
If you aren’t sure where to eat in Ft. Lauderdale, this is a great place to start! We received excellent service from our two very polite, friendly waitresses and the wait time was almost nonexistent. Our food came out with great portion sizes (we both took home leftovers) and tasted fantastic. Definitely check out the dinner specials!
1st, service was very bad. The place was not busy at all but our server was extremely slow and forgot our drinks until I asked him again. The food was cold and it just wasn’t what we were expecting. It’s bar food, that’s what you get here. Just disappointed. Maybe just a bad day.
We brought our fresh catch (King Mackerel) and they did a fantastic job cooking it for us. They cooked it multiple ways and all was delicious. Highly recommend bringing you fresh catch here for you to enjoy.
