Only and best Kosher Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale Florida!
We just had PX Grill Mediterranean Cuisine cater a 45-person event at my home. The kosher food was amazing! Extremely fresh ingredients. We had ordered chicken & beef skewers, classic hummus, falafels, Israeli salads and eggplant carpaccio. In addition, we ordered Pastels, beef cigars, and beef kibbeh. I would highly recommend the food.
The best food in town friendly staff
Unfortunately our experience did not live up to the reviews. Only giving 2 stars because the server was sweet and they did not charge is for most of our meal and rightfully so. We ordered a bottle of wine, which was brought to us already opened. It tasted like vinegar as if it had been open for days. We said something to our server right away, and she said she had just opened it and maybe we just weren’t familiar with Israeli wine…we tried to let it air out but it didn’t get any better. Next we tried the eggplant appetizer upon recommendation, and it tasted like liquid smoke- you could not even taste the eggplant whatsoever. The pita was good, but unfortunately the eggplant appetizer was inedible. Next we had the vegetable couscous with baby chicken and steak. The baby chicken did not look like normal chicken and the texture was very rubbery. The beef was cooked well and had good flavor. The couscous tasted like it was mixed with jarred baby vegetables… carrots to be exact- not what we were expecting. We tried the falafel and hummus platter. The falafel tasted old or pre made/frozen and then deep fried in oil that hadn’t been changed in awhile- very tough on the outside and dry in the middle. The hummus was actually the worst we’ve ever had. I’ve personally never had bad hummus before- I didn’t even know that was possible. We felt terrible voicing our feedback as we could tell this was a family establishment and we did not want to offend anyone. The owner (I think she was the owner) offered to make us something else, but we declined as we had lost our appetite. We wanted to like everything as we love Mediterranean food and trying new restaurants especially supporting small businesses and the inside decor was very cute, but the cuisine we tried just was not our taste. Maybe we just went on an off day.
What a lovely place! It has a beautiful deco and friendly staff. The service was quick. The food was delicious! We went there for lunch and their lunch menu is awesome. Our table ordered different items from the lunch menu and everything was delicious. We enjoyed our afternoon with mouth watering food at this place. They have good vegetarian options as well.
Great food, our waitress, Or, the daughter of the owner, was awesome. She was fun to chat with and made our meal very pleasant. The food was great and for anyone keeping Halal, kosher or. Dairy free this is a place for you. This restaurant is a year old and we highly recommend it.
Reasonable quality food but very expensive in the end. The ambiance is ok, but when their telephone rings it interrupts your conversation and worse yet us when they turn on the blender. Most if the menu prices were reasonable until you add the mandatory 18% tip. The service was average for a middle of the road. Some prices are out of sight. Lamb chops $70 and a double vodka $35.The owner does not accept criticism easily, and she refused to leave our table when I asked and then demanded.
Music was great but it was incredibly loud like a disco lol, could not hear anyone. Nice inside. Full house. Food came sporadically. Food was good. A bit expensive. But overall ok. Bathroom needs cleaning.
Unbelievable customer service. Delicious food that tastes good and real. I can tell thay they put heart and soul to please and make food taste good. beautiful place. Worth a trip from anywhere.
Really enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service! In my opinion, it is the best restaurant in the area. And prices are really affordable for such exclusively excellent quality of food. Highly recommend!
