I decided to come here for breakfast because everything else in the area is outrageously priced for eggs. We ordered the sausage breakfast sandwich and was thrilled that it wasn’t a tiny little sausage patty. We liked it so much we ended up ordered the turkey sandwich for lunch on the beach. I decided to get mine without the French fries, but I like their take on old school NY style sandwiches. Hospitality was great and they gave off a family feeling. Definitely a plus for being open 24 hours and being VERY well priced, but a negative for being cash only.
Oh Primanti Bros! They’re fantastic! I’ve been eating here since I was 8 years old, when my family would visit for vacation. 18 years later, I live here and I am still enjoying their incredible sandwiches when I’m in town! Nothing has changed at all. Their pizza is also very very good too, so I highly recommend trying that as well! My only complaint is finding parking- it’s so difficult if you’re not staying within walking distance!
This place ended up being our go-to for a quick weekend. The staff was so friendly and the food was excellent. They do a nice breakfast and the pizza was excellent.
It was well after midnight and we had not managed to get an evening meal when I remembered Primanti. There was a line outside the door, but fortunately they were for take away, We were asked if we were dining in and invited to take a table. The restaurant is simple and small inside but the staff are super friendly, We order a pizza that had a choice of 6 toppings and it was very good indeed and washed down with a beer. The bill was $30 so that was another plus side for dining here. Negative side parking meters are expensive.
We had a great experience at this place! I only gave 4 stars, though, because they only accept cash. It was an unplanned visit, but a good one. Super friendly staff, and the sandwich was delicious - we got the turkey sandwich, and they include the fries and coleslaw inside, so the size is huge. It is a little bit uncomfortable to eat it because the fries and coleslaw keep falling out. But the sandwich tastes great.
We had a pizza with three toppings which reviews led us to believe would be excellent. Instead the toppings were very skimpy and the sauce was almost completely tasteless. There was no seasoning, no spice or even any flavour in the sauce. The crust was good and crispy so I gave it 3 stars.
I guess it's a Philly thing to put cole slaw and french fries on a sandwich....I didn't care for it. I asked that the slaw be served separately, which it was, but I didn't know about the french fries, so I had to deconstruct my sandwich. Once I took the fries off, the sandwich was OK. It was priced right for sure and the staff was friendly. I wouldn't personally eat here again, but it was fine.
Tonight was my family and I’s second trip to this Primanti Bros. location. The staff there are awesome. They are welcoming, helpful, & friendly. The only downside to it is that because the location is right on a strip alongside the beach, you’re going to pay extra for certain things. For instance, parking is 24/7, $1 extra if you use a card as opposed to cash, and it is $4/hour. The lots are even more than that. Try to bring cash with you before you go as the ATM inside charges $5. This Primanti’s accepts CASH ONLY. They are open 24/7. There is in door and outdoor seating, however, it’s pretty small and cramped on the inside. The beach doesn’t close to my knowledge. It was close to 1a when we decided to take a look at the beach so late. If you want to sit, you will have to bring your own small foldable chair as the beach recliners are all chained up. Don’t be alarmed or surprised if you run into a sleeping homeless person. I know if I was homeless, I would sleep on the beach too.
