Amazing food, flavor and prices. They also make very good fresh squeezed lemonade. I don’t think their sandwiches or fries are the best but I personally don’t go to a Cuban restaurant to order that so stick to the lechón asado, tostones and chicharrones de pollo and you can’t go wrong. Their rice and beans are delicious too- best in Fort Lauderdale. The owner is very nice. Do yourself a favor and come eat lunch here!

Empanadas we’re really good. They have a variety of options for their lunch specials every day of the week. Good place for breakfast or lunch for sure
Horrible food! I ordered a pan con lechón and the pork was burned, had no flavor and the bread was stale. Spent $40 on food that went straight to the trash. I called the restaurant and they had the audacity to say they had no record of my order even though i had my order confirmation from Doordash... Never again!

The best Cuban lunch in the area. You cant beat the taste of good Cuban food. Food is served hot and fast. My go to spot when I am craving some lechón for lunch.
They cant even cook rice. How can you mess up rice it's the easiest thing in the world to cook?The plaintains weren't good either.I went in and there were no customers. That should of been my first clue that this place wasnt any good

Not many Cuban options in Broward, compared to Dade which makes Proto Havana a breath of fresh air for the area. They serve up standard Cuban fare for a great price.
