Having eaten at NY Deli’s on 3rd Ave, 8th Ave and 9th Ave in NYC for most of my life, this is NOT an NY Deli by a long shot. I can only speak to the chicken wraps, the chicken salad, and the pastrami sandwich. Other dishes may be good but I doubt it from my experience. The salad was clearly cut a day earlier, the carrots had these whitish stale marks of being days old, the olives were not ok either, almost a spoiled flavor. Worst of all was the chicken salad and coleslaw - it was so dry and tasteless it ended up in a garbage bin at Ft. Lauderdale Beach. And what the hell is that cucumber in a bag masquerading as a pickle?? Please stop serving that or get real pickles from NYC. Grade C food by NY deli standards.Only giving it two stars for the staff being really nice.
This turkey club wrap is dry and breaking apart. Reuben meat was fatty and bread was mushy. Not very impressed. This club is the same 1/2. Falling out both ends.
The very best for corned beef or pastrami sandwiches. I’ve been ordering from here for well over 25 years and it’s still delicious. Rick treats his customers right as well. Stop in and see for yourself!!
This is the yummiest Jewish deli in town. Best pastrami and corned beef, not to mention smoke/cured fish. If ordering takeout it’s best to order ahead. It can be crowded during peak hours, but it’s authentic and worth the wait.
Great classic NYC style deli--had pastrami, chicken soup & side of cherry peppers (very hot). If you are a fan of classic deli don't hesitate to visit here!!!
This is probably as close as you will get to a NY deli in Ft Lauderdale but it's a far cry from the real thing. The sandwiches were a little dry and the "pickle" was basically a cucumber with no pickle flavor or texture. Still, it's not bad and is worth a visit if you're in the mood for deli food.
Good food!! Great place. Very friendly staff.. delicious!
I ordered two sandwiches to go. The woman at the register who took my order was not too pleasant. The restaurant was not super busy. I waited almost a half an hour until the woman at the counter said to me, you're still waiting? I said yes and she checked with the guys making the sandwiches. They said they had made them, called my name and someone picked up my sandwiches. I was sitting there the whole time, I never heard my name called. They had to make me a new order. I don't think $35 for two sandwiches are worth the money. One plain corned beef sandwich and one plain roast beef sandwich. The corned beef was good but the roast beef was sub par. Will not be going back.
I am always in search of an outstanding hot pastrami sandwich. Pomperdale serves an outstanding sandwich. Great deli with a full menu of deli sandwiches and other deli favorites.
Very good deli. A nice variety of sandwiches, eager to come back. Cookies were very good also. Price is $$ but you can't get anything like this elsewhere
