Yesterday I asked for dark meat and when I received my food it turned out to be white meat. The following day which is today I ordered dark meat again and made it clear that I did not want white meat because yesterday you guys forgot and gave me white meat. I was talking to a female, the female was then interrupted by the manager(male) Andre he loudly and rudely said “ There needs to be enough dark meat for everybody so you might get mixed” Then he told the woman “ Make sure they understand that!” That was two days in a row, a very bad experience especially coming from a rude and nasty manager. I will not be coming here anymore and I’ll make sure to let other people know not to come to this unprofessional and nasty place.

I have been ordering from here for the past 2 years and I can finally say that This location in particular needs mayor help from corporate, its very busy for long periods during lunch specially (chaos), employees are not trained to handle the demand, management is present although frustrated you can perceive immediately the tension, very poor customer service, employees yelling at each other in front of customers. Its pointless to order online, your order will never be ready unless you arrive at the counter and pray for someone to assist you because they do not want to speak to clients they know what's coming and it's nothing good, its all complaints **if your order is ready "its wrong!! so have a seat and wait" and will take for ever to have them correct it, they ignore you. The Drive thru is the quickest (20-25+ minutes guaranteed), they will have nonsense excuses for cilantro sauce, for some reason "Cilantro you are the problem". I work for a company where 10 of us buy food constantly here, and its always a bad experience ALWAYS. Operations need improvement

My sweet husband buys food here for takeout. and the food was. Horrible burnt bananas. the pork completely watery. It is a lack of respect that the Employees have in this place. I am outraged. it's not fair. They never think about the client and what is going to open at their house. I feel cheated. They should close this point. tropical chicken

I know customer service is a difficult industry because it is impossible to please everyone. I know there are company policies to which one has to adhere. However, at no appointed time is it ok to be extremely argumentative and rude to a client/customer. As a nursing student and working mom, I often times stop at Polo to get food for my daughter. Last night I bought 3 plates of food after studying long hours and being tired. The plates were filled with rice but meat on top appeared to have gone through a food processor. I asked the young lady if I could get more meat because the plate is filled with rice but no protein( I sincerely counted 6 pieces of meat and I ordered 3 choppy chop.lol). The young lady was very pleasant and took it back. The manager approached the window and on top of her lungs proceeded to tell me there is nothing more for free. All day people keep asking for more meat..if I want more meat I should have purchased a large, there is nothing for free there... and the list continued. Free?? How so, when I provided my credit card for payment. Yet you wanted to give me a whole plate of rice with chicken crumbs! It was the tone and the body language that was so appalling to me. I tried to speak but was cut off multiple times so I politely asked for a refund. Thanks to Mary. I will not be returning to this location or any other for that matter. The service I received on 4/27/2022 around 9:40pm will go down in history as the last time I spend my money here and be belittled at the same time. Service sells! If you do not have the capacity to deal with people and maintain a certain level of decorum. Then the service industry is not one you should be apart of. I took my money back and hightailed it to Chick-Fill-A where the service was superb. They messed up my order but the service was divine so the order didn't even matter at that point!

Line is always incredibly long even though their lobby is empty and the kitchen is full of people. While at the window you can always witness the same employee arguing with whoever is in the kitchen, she will be the one yelling at everyone…every time. The protein portion is dismal, seriously. And always double check your food because after having items left off of my order a couple of times I learned to always double check and question. They still forget items but at least I catch it before I get home.

The worst service ever how are you cursing at your customers?? It’s only 9:00pm the manager is telling me they are closing so I can’t have any dark meat. Then one short older Spanish lady called a customer miserable the customer paid for her salad and they gave her something totally different than what she paid for this Pollo tropical is terrible every time I come to the Pollo tropical on commercial blvd I always have issues for what reasons I have no idea. if you don’t like your job then you should quit no one is forcing any of those people to work there. I’m so upset I decide not to even eat. Terrible!!!! Those people can only work for places like this because no one else will employe them.

We catered in lunch for staff of 40 people. Ordered to pick up at 10:45am. I was super impressed order was ready on time and food was delicious. great job! we will be back

Third time now. I ordered tropical chop with no beans and so I keep getting plain rice and maybe half of a chicken breast.4th time less than a week. Stoped again 01/19/22 it happened again. I told them no beans two times when ordering then again at the window. She looked in the and no beans. I went hm and opened it beans everywhere. Service use to be good here?

I will never ever go here again. The staff is rude and they completely messed up my order after I told them 3 times no chicken I don’t eat meat. After waiting in line for 25 min. The window cashier was rude. I spoke with the manager and she was pleasant but it appears that her staff is running all over her. So disappointed. ??????. ????
