Was looking forward to this. A friend had recently visited and enjoyed. From the moment we were seated, 6:45 pm, still in the hot Florida sun and were told no other tables were available, things went downhill. Thirty minutes to get a drink, and we didn’t get our appetizer, the best part of the meal, (pulpo) until an hour after being seated. Our meals, Mahi and linguine with shrimp and clams, was, ok at best. Ordinary pasta and overcooked fish, not worth $34.00 apiece. Coasting on Guy Fieri’s review? The only redeeming factor is the river front location.

This was absolutely wonderful the seafood is spectacular and the service outstanding oh free parking. Come at once! The view by the water is a must see.

This place a gem was featured Guy Fiery DDD show. Cocktails are amazing. THE FOOD top notch.A great experience, relaxing seating by the water. Great customer service will be back. Thank you Guy.

This was a super fun event and great place to have dinner. The food was amazing extremely delicious and the atmosphere being on the water was everything I expected it to be. Florida is a little pricey to have dinners and drinks however it was no more or less than any other place that we visited while we were there a vacation. It was worth every penny we spent and make sure you check out all the pirate statues and the parrot hanging on its perch. The seafood was absolutely a delicious ?

Pirate republic seafood restaurant is definitely a nice experience. Has a nice vibe and is a nice place to take family from out of town as well. the fried snapper was super good and highly recommended. Theres tons of parking and its nice to sit next to the water. There are some great drinks as well!

The food was amazing! Our server was better than the food! She was so knowledgeable about all the fish and literally everything on the menu. She was a true foodie we basically let her choose what we had and we're not disappointed (bummed because I don't remember her name)We would come back because the food and atmosphere was phenomenal but she was awesome! Definitely recommend!!!

We have been going to Pirates Republic for over a year and the staff are amazing, Cindy the manager is awesome very professional, we have had Danny as our waiter and he is great has made great food suggestions and everything we have tried is just delicious and well done. My family came down from up North and I took them here, we had reservations,we only waited about 3mins. Great service and the drinks were amazing ?.

Gorgeous views while dining on the dock. Drinks were way overpriced. I got the pirate bowl to eat. It was massive! Two adults can definitely split it. It has red pepper flakes which wasn’t stated on the menu. It made it a little spicy. Restrooms are in horrible shape. Time to update decor if they’re going to charge these kind of prices.

Good food. My wife and arrived at the restaurant just after 5 on a Friday. It was not busy and the hostess asked us if we had a reservation. We said no and we were shown to our choice of tables. No menu’s but we were told it was on their website or we could use a QR code that did not seem to work for us. Our waiter asked us if we wanted anything to drink. We said Ice Tea and were told they do not serve ice tea. We opted for water in small glasses. The waiter did not offer any happy hour or specials on the menu. We did not ask. We both ordered the Mahi dinner. Served with a side salad with dinner, the 10oz filet came with an additional side. We ordered asparagus. The filet was good. Salt and pepper was the season. Our waiter lost track of us and therefore we needed to find a server to ask for water. The total bill with tip was around 85 bucks. The filet were 34 dollars each plus tax and tip. No drinks. No dessert. Basic service. The place itself does not light up like the pictures. My guess it was. 5 pm and the upstairs was not open. Be careful as it is not that easy to get into as you have to follow the road. Parking seemed ok but then again it was 5pm. As for the decor, the pirate statues should be attended to, repaired and painted. If you are a DDD fan and need to check this off your list, go for it.

The ONLY thing good about this place was the water. They weren't even that busy and it took forever for us to even get water on our table. The alcoholic beverages were straight liquor. The shrimp was way overcooked. The food is completely overpriced for what it is. The pirate bowl was exceptionally salty. This place is a tourist trap. Save your money & time, that's better place. I promise you.
