Their pizzas have a great crust and bake to them but there's something off about the cheese, it has a strange taste/after taste. My guest yesterday agreed. First tried their pizza a couple years ago and again yesterday, same taste.The endless 5 star reviews must have been paid for.
We have lived in the area for 3 years now and finally decided to try this restaurant. In comparison to the large chain restaurants it's easy to believe that pizza is pizza but this place is a jem. The pizza was excellent and the pricing is very reasonable. We will definitely add Pete's A Place to our rotation. If you are in the area and looking for pizza please give them a try.
Was driving down Davie Boulevard with my in Fort Lauderdale, FL when I noticed a really awesome looking sign for this pizza place it was a cartoon character of an Italian guy and the place was called Pete’s A Place which I thought was a really good play on words. My wife and I got a 12 inch medium pie half pepperoni and half cheese and it was so freakin delicious I would put it on my list of best pizza I have ever had. I especially loved the customer service we got from the owner’s son I forgot to get his name and he told us the story of the place how the logo was of his dad. He was a really nice guy who gave great customer service. So if you are ever on Davie boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, FL check out Pete’s A Place for a great slice of pie for a great price.
Stick with pizza and the pockets! Love it!Some of the other items are either burnt, under cooked, or mostly meh. We ordered garlic rolls on 2 separate occasions and both times were burnt. Tried the new chicken philly sub, but this wasn't the same at all. Chicken super dry, couldn't even finish eating.
Pete Jr. or so he says running the front window was nice. Had a good talk with him and a couple of his guys. Pizza was as expected and very fast. He said it would be ready in 15 and it was. Will definitely go back.
This was my first time eating here, I have to say, I was not disappointed at all. The pizza and the wings and the garlic nots was really good! I know where to go and get good pizza from now on.
Although theirs not much personality with the workers, they have some darn good pizza!
Wow! This pizza is delicious really blew my mind such a great tasting pizza from such a small place. Bravo ? ? ? ?. The garlic bread is also very delicious.
Yesterday was the first time getting food from Pete's and I was very disappointed. The pizza was toasted too much the slices were not big as I mentioned in the previous reviews. The flavor was okay but I was definitely not blown away. I also ordered an italian sub. the bread was old and hard and the lettuce was brown. Unfortunately I will not be returning to Pete's
WOW, WOW, WOW!! THE GARLIC ROLLS AND SAUCE ARE AMAZING!! AND THE PIZZA SECOND TO NONE!! I JUST MOVED TO THE AREA AND SO PLEASED I FOUND YOU GUYS!! AMAZING FOOD GREAT SERVICE AND SUPER FRIENDLY!! WILL BE A REGULAR STOP FOR DINNER!!!!!!!!!
