The service is top notch. Staff very friendly greets you pleasantly with a smile. Food is very delicious one of new fave place to eat at now. That brown stew fish is delicious. Cant get enough. People's Choice should definitely be people's 1st choice when buying food. Highly recommended.

We were planning a party for our son's Law School Graduation and People's Choice was highly recommended. We called Junior - the owner and spoke to him and he is delightful to speak with. We popped in at his restaurant one night, introduced ourselves and met him. He was very gracious and he's a smart businessman. He insisted we try his special chicken wings and told us they are his mother's recipe. OUTSTANDING!!!! You can tell he cooks with heart and love. We ordered his Jerk Chicken, Brown Stew Chicken, Oxtail, Chicken Wings, Plantains and Pigeon Peas for the party. He came to our venue and set everything up. EVERYTHING was delicious. All our guests were raving about how amazing the food was. We thought we could pick a favorite dish and honestly, they are all our favorite. The Oxtail is delectable, the jerk chicken was perfectly spicy, the brown stew chicken had that perfect sauciness to it, the wings were PHENOMENAL and the pigeon peas with rice were the perfect accompaniment with the plantains. Needless to say, we will be back at People's Choice to continue enjoying Junior's culinary expertise. Junior, you and your food are amazing.
I like this place. My only issue is they don’t give much chicken to the amount of rice that’s in the box. The fried plantains are just delicious. I tried 4 other restaurants while in Fort Lauderdale but this one had the most delicious food. The rice and peas and brown stew chicken is every thing along with a size of ripe fried plantains . I don’t care for the darker gravy that they make, but the brown stew chicken gravy is perfect. friendly staff and quick service, I called in 3 times to place an order and food was ready with 10-15mins with maybe 3 mins wait when get there . Who knew all of this time I’ve passed this restaurant. They’re very nice clean and respectful. My friend John sent me to this ?. And my son who loves Jamaican food I won’t name the other restaurant out of respect. But he told me today this is his new favorite restaurant . And they also gave me a sample of their chicken with the secret sauce it was delicious. I’ll be coming back soon.
The food is amazing it taste way better than most of these jamaican restaurants. The area around the restaurant is hood but the food is everything so good that I ate the bones. The gravy tasted like it came from the fountain of youth. 4 stars due to area located in but food is on 1000 actually very good. The price is reasonable. Excellent customer service. I have to go back for the carrot juice.
The best wings in Lauderdale hands down!!! I've been eating here for over 10 years and the wings have never changed.
I ordered a small oxtail meal. The portion and quality were both excellent. It was seasoned well and not excessively salty. The fried plantains were also cooked perfectly.
I've never been at the particular restaurant and I tell you I'm mad at myself! The food was great and fresh. Service was amazing! Can't wait to good back this week. I can't believe I live 3 minutes away and never been in this plaza or restaurant .
These Oxtails are the best I’ve ever had. I ordered a meal yesterday…… My daughter ate it and thought I cooked it. So I’m ordering another meal today before this one disappear too lol.
