Food was awesome! Service was pretty rough. I’d come back for take out orders for sure !
This place has new ownership and the new owner Gary has brought this place back to life. The previous owners ran it into the ground but Gary and staff have cleaned the place, revamped the menu and all the food is not only delicious but it’s fresh and has great servings. Service is top notch and they’re always happy to make your day.
Excellent Jewish delicatessen. Didn't have any of the Jewish fare, but the Philly cheesesteak was made fresh, with real steak instead of the thin beef. Amazing prices. Latkes served with apple sauce, matzo soup, plenty of kosher options. Definitely worth a stop if you need a quick lunch. Service was impeccable and the staff genuinely looked to be enjoying their shift.
Excellent NY deli in ft Lauderdale, super friendly staff, don't pass this place the pastrami is outa this world!!
Had a great meal here. Sometimes you just gotta go with a good ol’ Reuben and this is one of the better ones I’ve had. Waitress was fun and everyone had a good laugh.
Bland food, nothing interesting on the menu. Ladies room is dirty and the toilet does not flush properly. Eggs were not flavorful, french fries are not well cooked. English muffin was great. The display case in the front, probably once held pastry displays, now stores big slabs of uncooked meat. The whole place is shabby and worn. There are tables outside on the patio, but chairs are stacked up. Service was excellent.
Meh...Went here for coffee and bagels on a Friday morning. Waited a long time for 2 bagels with cream cheese. The bagel selection was pretty limited, they were barely toasted (seemed like they just warmed them up in the microwave), and they went way over on the cream cheese. Definitely won't be going back here.
Sorry Born and rasied in NY nothing like it. Bagels frozen FROM night before. No fresh. Hours on door or website not correct. Drove there at lunch hour traffic , place closes at 3 NO it was locked at 1pm with people inside EATING, BUT DOORS ARE LOCKED. When someone is on their lunch hour thinking the place is open to 3pm. That is so wrong. This is the 3rd problem with this deli in 2 months. So NO NO NO TO ME.
I stopped into the NY Deli with my kiddos. They are 2 and 6 and we were looking for a nice place for breakfast. This was within walking distance to our hotel so we decided to give it a try. It wasn’t vey busy when we walked in. We were told to sit anywhere we wanted. After we sat down about 5 or 6 other tables sat down. The servers proceeded to greet all of the late tables before anyone even came over to talk to us. We probably waited 20 minutes before being greeted. They were very understaffed and I heard them talking about how someone didn’t show up. A couple of the tables got up and left. We finally had a server come over and we ordered right away. The food was good but you could tell the servers were being over worked. We would give it another try and hope they were fully staffed.
NYC Deli was a diner I've loved to eat breakfast for a couple of years now. I must say today Sunday January 16 2022 service was very sad. I entered know one greeted us and 6 tables were dirty. I picked one of the tables that still had dishes from previous customers thinking someone would come over and say hello perhaps clean the table but it did not happened. The two waitresses ignored us and took care of another couple that came in. We had no choice but to leave, sadly I didn't see the owner who usually welcomes us with a great smile. Not sure if we will ever go back.
