Would have been better getting a premade sandwich from 711.The individual, I would typically describe a respectful person as "the gentleman" , which he ABSOLUTELY IS NOT, was very rude to the young lady training to work the counter, while he sat at the table in which you see him seated, belittling her, an THEN ATTEMPTED TO CHARGE $17.99 for a 12 pack of Modelo, and said that if I complained more he would increase the amount by .50 whilst THE COLOR PRINTED ADVERTISMENT said $14.99. After opening my sandwich when I got a chance to eat it, I was disgruntled enough to go back,so I could include another picture of the "false priced 12 pack", only to discover HE TOOK IT OFF THE COOLER DOOR..in under 10 minutes. The Sandwiches are good, but not worth the cost. A Large sandwich is $16.00. I questioned the store clerk regarding the price, and she replied that I was "lucky" that they didn't charge me an extra $1.00 for BBQ sauce that I asked for with my sandwich, which would have brought the total to $17.00. She then replied that it's expensive because they only use Boars Head Meats. My family owns a deli in Boston that exclusively uses Boars Head Meats. Their large sandwiches cost $9.99, and the margins are huge.
Bread is not like is used to be and the cold cuts are cut too thick but packed with meat. Not happy with my market past 2 visits. I will try again just for the benefit of the doubt. Damn! I miss the old you.
Subs used to no good, not great. Many family and friends concour. Quality sad. Counter people at register must have bad day even if you go for other items. I don’t frequent the place as before. Prices rose way too much for a sandwich and the last few years quality deminished. Went a month ago ordered the usual SSR. Prosciutto had stank flavor, dark color and tough. Not sure even true prosciut. My Go to is Laspada. Good attitudes from employees and always consistent.
The clerk is very personable and the selection is awesome.
