American-style diner with a lot of variety. We went for breakfast on a Sunday morning and it was packed. Walking in, expect around a 20 minute wait. They do provide free coffee and tea for people waiting on seating though. To start, the customer service is on point. Our waitress was super helpful and nice. Despite the crowd of people, the employees put a lot of effort into each table making sure everyone was taken care of.The food we had was good, and they have all of the breakfast staples you'd expect from a diner. The portions are huge and were well worth the price. The French toast, eggs and bacon were all great. The biscuits and gravy were decent but could have been better. They do not have real maple syrup unfortunately. For this and the biscuits I am giving 4 stars. However, overall it is one of the better diners I have been to and I enjoyed it. I will come back again!

found moms by accident. we are from tamarac and we were looking for good bisquits and gravy. Moms came up on-line. so we decided to give it a try. What a nice place. We waited about 10 min for a table on a sat, it was busy. When we went inside it was clean. music playing. people talking. Susan waited on us, and boy. she kept my husbands ice t filled the whole time. Food came out hot, appealing and very good. We will be back.

What an excellent breakfast spot!! The staff, hostess, manager?, servers all work famously together! Helping clear each others tables, and checking in. It was such a nice environment and positive energy that made my morning! Excellent food & prices ? will be back for sure!

Love it! Very friendly. Quick service. Great food. Today we went for breakfast. It's the day before Valentine's Day and they walked around and handed out flowers to people! How sweet is that!? Love this place. 10 stars!

If you're looking for a hidden little gem in Fort Lauderdale, Mom's Kitchen is the place to go. Whether you're looking for breakfast, lunch, or dinner (dinner only on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.) We ended up having country fried steak (just ask for it) along with biscuits and gravy and crab cakes eggs benedict, wow, delicious. If you're looking for an old fashioned diner experience with top notch food and great service (the way it used to be), Mom's Kitchen is the place to go. If you're lucky enough to get Julie as your server, your time there will be even better.

First time here. First impressions: Nicely decorated, friendly faces, busy but seat yourself got us in a booth immediately. A well oiled machine, our coffee and juice delivered in minutes. Kitchen turned our order out quickly. Food was hot and delicious. Try the coffee, very good with free refills.I was surprised to learn they have been at the current location for more than 20 years. Now serving dinner on a couple days of the week.We will be back!

Lots of people waiting for a table when we arrived, Sunday 11AM but we only waited 20 minutes. Everyone so accommodating and eager to please. Constantly filling up your drink or getting a fresh one without even asking. Food was delicious. A little wait for it but totally work it. $40 for 2 adults.

If you like diners, this is the place for you. Busy, homey and friendly, it has the extensive menu you'd expect. I had the chopped sirloin with mushroom gravy and mashed potatoes and was happy as could be. Our waitress was great fun and treated us like family. Even though it was only November, the Christmas decorations were already up, something I learned was typical for the start of tourist season. I loved this joint!

Wow! Everything was really great! Burger was great diner burger. The pancakes were super fluffy and flavorful and even the turkey in the turkey sandwich was tasty. Service was amazing - Susan was a delight. We will definitely be back.
