So had to go check out mitch’s and see if they really have aced the Lox bagel…. In short, It’s above par but significantly overvalued and not worth the ~$17Location: 5/5 awesome spot just hard to find parking sometimesOptions: 5/5 you want an egg bagel go for it, no bagel, that’s fine they have a deli and pre packaged black and whites (calm down it’s not Katz)Bagel flavor: (everything bagel) 4/5 good mix of taste nothing unique but nice that it’s not over poweringBagel dryness: 3/5 A bit to dry on the outside and the inside was not fluffy enough to feel that softnessLox: 4/5 Solid and fresh, not a personal favorite but above parLox bagel: 3/5 good mix of options L/O etc but I had to pay a $1 for capers ???Cream cheese ratio : 2/5 way overpowered by the cream cheese and it was only on one size?? there is a magic to how much you add if you actually want to taste your bagelValue: 1/5 $17+ for 1 bagel??? This place is way over priced and simply can’t justify it.. additional charging for capers is bs, it’s part of the dish..Staff: 5/5 professional and great listenersOverall, I would say it was an experience worthwhile. I don’t think I would go back to just due to the lack of value in the bagel unless I was OK with getting a bagel and smear for $6. I would love to see management find other ways to save costs to drive down the actual prices it would make it an awesome staple to hang out at and enjoy their food. Last time I was in New York I know I didn’t pay above $13 for a bagel and lox and i know the fish didn’t swim all the way down here for this bagel

Best pastrami sandwich in Ft Lauderdale barring none

Great Experince visiting Mitch's Bagel Cafe. They have a friendly staff ensuring all the tables are clean and your being served asap. The food menu is huge so our family had no issues finding something to order. The food itself is good portioned, big bagels that some family member just split. We visited this location for both breakfast and lunch on a separate day since it was moderately priced and super good.

Seriously … The BEST breakfast bagel sandwich I’ve ever had!! I will definitely be back!!! I had the Whole Wheat everything bagel with fried egg, bacon and cream cheese! Yummm!

Just picked up my order and got home… of course, they leave out my bagel. This happens every time. It is usually cream cheese or something else. Today it’s the bagel.See cream cheese below (missing its companion bagel). Then, I try to call.. and it’s impossible to speak with anyone. Their phone system assures they will never hear about your issue!Worst place ever. Save your time and money!

I was able to go in and check this place out in downtown Fort Lauderdale. This place has great vibes from the moment you step inside.I chose to try the becta on a rainbow bagel which includes thick cut bacon, 2 scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, truffle oil and avocado. This sandwich was everything and more ?The next day I ordered the hangover on Uber eats because I was that OBSESSED!Pair these amazing bagels with their iced or hot coffee and your in for a drool worthy breakfast. Can we all agree that bagels don’t count as carbs ?

This is a really cool new spot right beneath the Motif Apartments. I dig it, the place is very modern and hip.I had one of their recommendations, which was The Becta, which is basically a bagel of your choice with 2 scrambled eggs, cheddar, bacon, avocado slices and truffle oil, served with a side of coffee. My order was alright although I wasn’t a fan of the truffle oil.The scenery is what you would expect from a modern millennial restaurants neon lights over a grass wall with a cool phrase that describes their main selling point. Good options to take photos, hangout and grab a bite. I will definitely be coming back with friends to show them around.

Loved the sandwiches. both are excellent choices. Bagels we soft and fresh. Potato salad was dry and didn’t have much flavor. Love the bright colors of the rainbow bagel. They made sure that there was enough meat/eggs on the sandwiches so you didn’t feel like you were eat just a bagel which has happened to me at other places.

Went for my first time today and was not disappointed! Mitch’s Downtown Bagel Cafe is DEFINITELY a must visit when in Ft. Lauderdale for breakfast or lunch. They have a huge menu with so many delicious options. I wanted to order it all! If you are worried about social distancing, don’t! you can order and pay right from your phone at your table! I love that the owners are there and make you feel right at home. :) 10/10 experience and meal! Can’t wait to go back

Always great food! Large menu!
