Amazing experience, everyone was extremely welcoming and friendly. Excellent prices all around - from food to alcohol. We indulged in two of the “5 for $20 beers” which is a hard price to find anywhere around Miami. All around an amazing experience at a nice family owned restaurant from Cuba.

All the reviews of this place are true! It's delicious! Yanitza was our server and she was amazing. Food is delicious. The owner came out and gave my husband free black beans, this is what customer service is all about. Definetly coming back!

Best cafecito cubano , thanks

We loved the food here. I had the beef roast and potatoes and my husband bad a Cuban Sandwich. I also ordered a cafe con leche. I would recommend this place. Everyone was so kind and the food was some of the best Cuban I have ever experienced

The pork chunks, yellow rice, and plantains were the most amazing thing to eat. I wish I could take this restaurant ( and the wonderful waitress) back to Chicago with me! Best food ever. Super nice people.

Oh My Stars!!! Let me tell you…they got me with the FRESH mango juice. They could have given me refills of this and I would have been contentwith juice for dinner. Anyway, the food didn’t disappoint. We ordered Pork Chunk with black beans, white rice and fried ripe plantains and Smoked Pork Chop with black beans, white rice and fried ripe plantains. I had the fresh mango juice and Donald had the fresh lemonade.Everything was DELICIOUS!Oh then I had to get some colada. Peep the small 4oz cups and the smaller 1ozish ”cups”. The shots were perfect with my morning coffee. ?

Not a fancy place, just excellent food with warm and welcoming service. Highly recommend the Yuca, Chicken Breast on the Grill, coffee, rice and beans. Would definitely return.

To be fair, we have gone here for lunch many times and had a few great interactions with the owner over the last year or so. So with that said, today was a huge disappointment. The chicken plate I ordered was as dry as could be and was extremely tough like it had been under a heat lamp way too long. My meal came first and it was more than 15 minutes before the other two orders arrived. When my wife's meal arrived the ground beef was tasteless, not even a hint of pepper. My daughter was happy with her meal. We were never offered any drinks with our meal and we had to ask for water. The waitress never came around to check at all. There were several other tables that they took very good care of. We were ignored. I had to go up to the counter to even ask for the check and to pay. There were four girls at the counter and I had to announce my presence two feet away from them to pay the bill. I don't want to go too far because the owner has always been so nice to us and we always felt welcomed and I'm going with the assumption that he was just not there today. But today it was quite evident of the feelings of the staff towards us. Reverse racism is still, just racism.

Hubby and I went back to this place a second time while on vacation and was served by our wonderful, kind and sweet server Nery! We were so pleased with both visits and with the food and service. The oxtails were amazing and so was my cuban sandwich. Definity ask for Nery as she was awesome!

Great food from a varied menu, nice friendly atmosphere. Love the breakfast. Also pork chunks, empanadas, cuban & medianoche sandwich, fruit shakes and more. I like to bring family and friends over to enjoy their delicious food.
