Just what I wanted, a comfortable Mexican restaurant with really good food!We had chicken fajitas, complimentary chips & salsa, and margaritas.Everything was delicious.We enjoyed the atmosphere & the service was good.I will definitely return.
On Tuesday nights they have live Mexican music and it was fun. The service was very good and the food was excellent. I was told by a friend it wasn't as good as it used to be, my friend was wrong. We will be back more often, especially on Tuesday nights. My friend had the shredded port, excellent and had a trio of items, very very good.
I usually don’t even write reviews but I felt compelled to because this place is so amazing. Real beef/ chicken that’s not extremely processed like you will see with other companies. Real tomato salsa. Everything is very high quality and a very good price, so I’m always tip the amazing service. A lot of companies in the area have poor quality for more expensive Servers are very timely which is another amazing thing that is a rare find in the area.. Definitely have to check this place out!!
A great Mexican restaurant- I stopped in on a weekday about 2:30 pm - had one of many lunch specials - pollo a la plancha - it was incredible - chicken was very tasty - plantains were sweet - rice and black beans very good - it comes with a cup of their chicken rice soup - super - as I sat there enjoying the meal - at least 4 different people came in to get large takeouts of the soup - the owner said they make it fresh every morning and it sells out through the day! I will go back next time I'm down in Lauderdale - and the prices were affordable - my lunch was 10.95 . Try it!!
I would say there is an Off balance between Mexican food or Spanish food.. flavors were not as expected. Generous portions, very quick service, the environment is good and the price is right for your order. Plenty of parking in this place.
Nice place, could easily put a little of thoughts concerning the facade, but still easy to reach, to park and to sit. For appetizers, we started with "Super Nachos", really good! My girlfriend ordered "Flautas Rancheras" and I had the "Carnitas". Both dishes were super tasty and the precise portion. I'll come back very soon.
I feel kind of bad writing this review but I feel I must. 5 years ago a friend of mine told me he’d seen a live roach in his booth at this place so I vowed to never eat here and didn’t for 5 years! However, I kept hearing from others that the fajitas were incredible. Thinking the problem was obviously fixed I gave them one more chance. Upon seating down and ordering, I saw a dead roach under the table next to ours. At this point I was alarmed but had already ordered and so far the appetizers he had had been very very good so I chose to believe I was an isolated incident and that the fumigation was obviously working…. Not even 10 minutes went by.. I was finishing my food (which was spectacular) and saw the largest (LIVE) cockroach I’ve seen in years right next to me, crawling by the wall. I freaked out, screamed and ran away. The waitresses were very nice and understanding..(hence the 2 stars) I came home feeling sick.. needless to say I will sadly never return.
I came to this Mexican restaurant thinking that you know it reminded me to back home Chicago cuz the police goes there really good but I was shocked to find out but they still serve black beans and rice now I love black beans and rice but when I go to the Mexican restaurant I want to see Mexican food. Nonetheless the person I ordered with us Baja which is a Cuban dish not Mexican dish which is supposed to be starving practice still delicious
First time here... its been on this location for years. The complimentary chips were nice and warm. The Shredded pork, white rice, plantains and black beans were delicious. Nice chunks of onions... definitely fresh. My friend enjoyed his Cancun Combo. Portions are large... barely finished it. Great decor and friendly staff. This is a rare treat.Just took a friend today and he had 2 empanadas and he loved it. I had the pork with black beans, rice, and plantains. The food was served fast and our waitress was excellent. Great food and atmosphere.
