My daughter and I went there and were basically thrown out by a drunk caucasian lady who claimed to be the owner. She was VERY rude and ignorant, telling me she could speak to me and my daughter however she liked. It is so unfortunate that racist individuals like her are allowed to run a business. I was disgusted!! I was also was informed by a staff member that this is not unusual behavior for her.
This is a perfect dive bar. Great staff, friendly patrons, and best bang for your buck.Side note, Tish deserves bartender of the year.
Pit Stop there on a Wed during the day. Bartender was so sweet and attentive and the place with its locals just feels like home.

This bar is definitely unique. It's not very clean, it's not very comfortable, yet I have to visit the place every time I'm in Ft. Lauderdale. It's full of locals and lots of characters, it's great to see a side of Ft. Lauderdale that's not all tourists and youngsters. It's on a side street that's almost an alley, yet it's feet away from some of the most expensive real estate around. It's quite a dichotomy, very interesting.
