The food was amazing!! The spanakopita was the best I’ve ever had, Greek salad, the dressing is fabulous, the hummus to die for and the snapper yellowtail cooked to perfection! Thank you!

Always a great dining experience .. great food, dessert , great everything ! Service is great too!??

I arrived here shortly after they opened on a weekday. Covid protocols not in effect -- no masks no social distancing. So I took a table outside in the covered patio. It was open to the fresh air coming in from the west. Well shaded from the searing rays of the blazing sun. The south and north doors of the patio were kept open, forming essentially a breezeway that swept along the patio. The channeled winds on the patio were speeded up via Bernolli's principle, I'd say. On the patio I was able to socially distanced myself from other diners out there, of which there were only two tables of them. I ordered a lunch special: chicken ladoregano. It came with vegetables, which were mostly string beans but with other veggies too. The two pieces of chicken breast were delicious. So too were the veggies, and they were cooked just right -- not soggy, not undercooked. Hummus and bread came with the meal. The hummus was simply delicious. The bread was fresh. Service by my waitress was efficient. It was also efficient as to the kitchen, which got the food out to me at breakneck speed. And the male server who brought the food to my table was friendly. And while I awaited my kitchen food, I dined on the bread and hummus which my waitress had brought to me as soon as I placed my meal order.

Friend had recommended this restaurant and it was a little way away from where we were staying, so took an afternoon bike ride and stopped for lunch. Food is amazing as is the staff. Need to try the Feta dip, so good with a hint of heat. Gyro was delicious as was the calamari. Home made food, owners we’re sitting at the bar….

We had a late lunch and enjoyed ourselves!! Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious - we started with Kalamari with Rose wine.. I had Lamb Chops with vegetables and potatoes - William had a whole snapper!! Everything was great! Highly recommend. Very, very busy - valet parking…

Visiting on vacation. Came highly reviewed, wasn't disappointed! Husband and I shared the stuffed grape leaves (very good, but would have loved meat in the filling) and the Greek salad. He had the ribs, I had the 1/2 chicken. tons of flavor! too much food, had to take back to hotel for late night snack :) Look forward to another visit when we go back!

When it comes to ethnic foods, it hard for an American to actually know what is authentic food of different countries unless one was born in a foreign country or has lived abroad long enough to experience specific cultures. I have eaten at many different Greek restaurants in the US including Astoria, NY and Tarpon Springs, FL (those 2 cities contain the largest Greek) population the US) and I must admit that, to my taste, the Greek Island Taverna wins hands-down. And that must be the reason why it has a long waiting list to get in at lunch or dinner.

We had a fantastic meal with an outstanding server. Very friendly atmosphere.

As a visiting South African with Greek family connections this establishment ticked every box. Simply outstanding - loved it.

This place was recommended by a chef friend of mine and she was so right! Outstanding food, especially the baked shrimp...served with a sauce you'll just want to swim in, but the rice soaks it up nicely. The saganaki appetizer was delicious, especially smeared on crusty bread. Also try the house salad and mousakka. Desserts were good, but not exceptional...stay with the apps & main dishes. Service was outstanding. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and gave us many recommendations. Cheery Greek atmosphere.
