Service was good Saturday around 3:30. Pizza was great. I could not eat the whole thing so I brought back for the hotel staff. It was reasonable compared to other places. Freshly made dough. Including glass of wine and tip less than $40.00
Service and wine were good. Food was ok, not great. My pasta was undercooked, sent it back and again undercooked. My husbands egg plant parm came with no pasta. Overall we enjoyed it but for the price and location, there are a lot better places to eat. If you’re in Fort Lauderdale, you have to shine and this place did not.
My wife and I came for lunch. We sat outside. Warm but comfortable. Great for people watching. We got two paninis -- one with prosciutto and the other with turkey. Both were good. Sevicecwas pretty good. Prices were reasonable, especially for Las Olas.
We have been going to that little pizza place for at least 15 years. What's nice is it doesn't change. Same great food, good prices, no noise and great service.
My wife and I recently had our first cruise in two years and decided to stay an extra day in Fort Lauderdale so that we didn't rush home after our cruise but enjoy the beauty of FLL for another day, at the B-Ocean. We decided to take the Water Taxi and I highly recommend this as a means to not only get some incredibly historic narratives but to see what amazing mansions and yachts from the top of the Intracoastal to the City of Fort Lauderdale.(Incidentally if you can get Rita as your Tour Guide she is an absolute "cracker" and very informative and hilarious as well!) So my wife and I walked on Las Olas Blvd, up one side and down the other, for about 8-10 blocks and as we were headed back toward the water taxi stop that we finished our tour at, there was this beautiful little restaurant, and we decided to lunch there. Excellent service, OUTSTANDING food (we ordered a pizza to share and a Caesar salad which we also shared) I had a sangria and my wife, a margarita and for these two reasons, I would highly suggest that if you happen to be near this amazing little "gem of a restaurant" that you grab a nice seat out front, and enjoy what I know will also be, a lunch to remember, as it was for us! Don't change Gran Forno Pronto, please, you have the "magic" that makes your restaurant truly what it is! Kudos! Sincerely, Dave and Deb from Canada
Absolutely amazing place!!! We stayed at Isles of Venice for the week and this was a great morning treat every day. Every morning, to start the day right, walked down to cafe, grabbed a cannoli and cappuccino. Excellent sweet service! Always packed.
Terrible. Skip this place. If you don’t heed this warning it’s on you. Saying you have a happy hour thats buy one get one and just charging double for the first is just unethical. $40 for a mojito that’s poured out of a CAN and the saying the second was is free is just charging for 2 for the price of 2! Fact is it’s not even worth 20$ A piece and is practically highway robbery . The food and service was were terrible and way overpriced as well! I never right reviews and I always support small businesses but this is a crooked establishment trying to prey on unsuspecting patrons.
The ambiance is so lovey with live musicians every weekend. The food is incredible, as the wine is. Highly recommend this place for any meal!
This restaurant is in a good position but unfortunately the food is not so good. My pasta dish was lukewarm and my husband’s pizza wasn’t much better. There is entertainment but this is so loud we couldn’t wait to leave. The meals are is the menu.
I stopped to have coffee with some friends that were having breakfast. It looked so good I came back with my husband. Ham omelet, potato, and ciabatta toast- enough for two. Also, side of sliced tomato. Everything was fresh and delicious. Next day came for lunch -proscuitto panini, caesar salad, meat pizza. ALL delish and fresh! Will def come back when in FLL again.
