In each season the community at this church has poured into me in phenomenal ways; and in each season, I have seen the work of God in my life through the people of this church. While our church may be in the midst of a new season, it is one full of a passion to PREACH the gospel and SERVE the community around us.There is a movement of hope happening here, and I encourage anyone to come and be a part!!!
We LOVE bringing our family to church at First Baptist Fort Lauderdale! We especially enjoy the music and preaching as it has helped us grow in our understanding of what it means to be a follower of Jesus. Sunday services were anointed as usual. The worship experience was deep, emotional and powerful. Pastor Welch gave another thought provoking message from the book of Nehemiah. The message was relevant for today, for the body of Christ now! It was engaging, encouraging and inspiring.

This is a great place to worship right at the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale. The music is awesome and the team pays attention to details to make the atmosphere conductive a true spiritual experience. The auditorium is very large, truly one of the most beautiful architecture pieces in America, comfortably seats everyone present. When you get there you are greeted from the parking lot to the entrance and into the worship center by so many friendly and helpful people. The kids space is clean, professionally run and attractive. Every Sunday services highlight the focus on serving the city with projects and local events. Message from Pr. James is relevant for today's culture and inspired purely on the Bible. Our family has been coming to this blessed place for over 23 years and our kids have grown attending First baptist Fort Lauderdale. Highly recommended!!!

Beautiful land in the heart of Fort Lauderdale.Use to be a big church with beautiful. Stoning Christmas Pageant. New Pastor, political issues made a lot of people to change Churches.It’s a shame
the pastor is not the best communicator... in his speech he deviates and in the end the message is not concrete and also the speech is more than an hour. Nice parking, nice people
